Of course, many other users praised Underwood and the band for their incredible performance. Another called her a true performer and was reminiscent about a concert she had gone to as she wrote:

After the performance, NEEDTOBREATHE took to Twitter to thank the CMT awards. They also thanked Underwood for hitting all the high voices and for being so kind to them, even remarking that there was always a spot for her in the band.

Besides giving a stellar performance, Underwood took home the award for Video of the Year for her and John Legend's song "Hallelujah." This was the first CMT award for Legend.

The duo also scored a nomination for Video of the Year at the ACM Awards earlier this year. Underwood performed at the awards show and started with a beautiful acapella version of "Amazing Grace."
