The weekend-long chase for Nicholson came to an end on Sunday when he turned himself in to the police, investigators said. The suspect killed his victims in North Bend, Oregon.
He surrendered to police in Milwaukee early Sunday morning without incident, Coos Bay District Attorney R. Paul Fraiser said at a news conference.
Nicholson was on the run since Friday after he attacked four people, investigators said. The suspect killed his father, Charles Simmons Nicholson, 83, at the RV Park of The Mill Casino.
He then stole his truck and used it to run over two other people, a couple from Florida, Anthony and Linda Oyster, 74 and 73, the police revealed.
Sadly, Anthony died, and his wife Linda is currently in critical condition. Nicholson then drove to the Herbal Choices Marijuana Dispensary and fatally shot one resident Jennifer L. Davidson, 47.
Surveillance cameras caught him at a sporting goods store picking ammunition following the incidents. The officials later discovered the truck crashed and set alight.

Before he handed himself to the police, he forced a woman to drive him more than 2,000 miles to Wisconsin, where he surrendered to his fate.
He approached Laura Johnson, 34 after she returned to her parking spot in Springfield, Oregon. Luckily, Johnson was not hurt and returned home.

She was found safe and unharmed. Her father, Dennis Johnson, revealed, "He approached her in her vehicle with a gun." Adding his daughter was able to convince Nicholson into turning himself in.
He said his child works at Cabella’s in Springfield and that she was on a lunch break sitting in her car and texting her boyfriend when the suspect approached her at gunpoint.
