AJ Cook's Cancer-Free Husband Melts Hearts with Tender Birthday Tribute to 'Criminal Minds' Star in New Snap

A.J. Cook’s husband Nathan Andersen had fans swooning after he penned a sweet birthday message for his lovely wife. Andersen is Cook's spouse of 2 decades and a cancer survivor.

A.J. Cook's cancer-free husband melted hearts with a tender birthday tribute to "Criminal Minds" star in a new snap on Instagram as he noted:

"Happy Birthday, Baby. @ajcook.”

BIRTHDAY MESSAGE

The American entrepreneur posted a lovey-dovey selfie of him posing with his wife, as both wore shades and matching black tees as they held drink cups.

The couple appeared to be in a public sphere as they had other people in the backdrop of their photo, with Andersen towering over his wife wearing a black cap.

Fans took to the comments section to send their good wishes to Cook as one person wrote, "Happy birthday AJ!! Love you more than you could imagine."

"Happy Birthday @ajcook! All the best to you! Health, happiness, and what you want!! Celebrate your day!” another user commented.

One follower referred to Cook as a queen and said, “Happy Birthday to the queen hope you guys have fun,” whereas one praised her and shared, “She’s golder, not older.”

On the other hand, in September 2019, Cook took Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note for her spouse praising him for beating cancer and wrote:

"It's been a hell of a year, @nathanandy. I know you hate when I get all sentimental, but#Cancer picked the wrong guy to mess with.”

She continued: "You won, baby! You're #cancerfree. It's like the weight of the world has been lifted.” The pair have never openly talked about his diagnosis and have only shared that he beat the disease. Andersen once shared a closeup of a scar on his neck and wrote, "Got my lips done.#cancer-free."

ABOUT ANDERSEN

She shared snapshots of her and Andersen doing some outdoor activities. Andersen is an outdoorsy person who is always on the road and loves canyoneering in some of the world’s awe-inspiring places.

The fashion designer was born in Utah and took his first steps into nature-roaming, climbing, and collecting and testing his limits.

Upon graduating from college, the 43-year-old was brought into the world of Hollywood entertainment but realized it was not for him. He then pursued fashion and became the co-founder of the Walter Sky collection.

He is a family man and has been married to the “Out Cold” star since 2001. The lovebirds first met while she was in college at Utah Valley University and have been inseparable ever since.

According to The List, the pair seems to keep details of their relationship on the down-low, have no scandal to their names, and appear to enjoy their years together.

The couple shares two children, sons Mekhai and Phoenix. According to Paramount, the duo marks 20 years together this year, and their anniversary is August 3.

PREGNANT JJ

As a working mom who happens to be in the acting industry, people tend to speculate that the characters the stars play may be true in real life, as was the case with Cook in the mystery drama series "Criminal Minds."

Fans of the show implied Cook was pregnant in real life as fans wondered whether she was expecting or whether it was part of her beloved character JJ’s storyline.

Cook, who plays JJ (whose full character name is Jennifer Jareau), was pregnant on the show during filming and announced her pregnancy on social media while Season 10 was still airing.

BECOMING A MOM

Cook discussed motherhood in an interview with Daily Motion years ago and said, “As soon as you give birth to a child, you give birth to guilt.”

She added it’s part of being a mother despite being a stay-at-home mom or a working mom because you want to do the best for your children. "I had the luxury of going through my pregnancy through national television, which I don't recommend anyone," she explained.

Of the entire experience, Cook shared it was interesting to go through the process and shared she had sound support onset and admitted it was not easy to see her child grow up afterward.
