With numerous accolades to his name, including two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes, Brad Pitt is undoubtedly a legend in the movie industry. However, unlike other stars, he doesn’t come from a family of acting prodigies.

Brad has a humble background, and his parents are far away from the glamorous life of Hollywood. However, his mother has remained a part of his life and has even gone as far as to warn him about his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.

WHO ARE BRAD PITT’S PARENTS

Brad's birth name is William Bradley Pitt. The “Fight Club” actor was born to William Alvin Pitt and Jane Etta Pitt in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Shortly after his birth, his family relocated to Springfield, Missouri, where Brad spent most of his childhood.

His father, William, was the owner of a trucking company, while his mother, Jane, served as a school counselor. They raised Brad and his younger siblings, Douglas and Julie, as First Baptists.

Although Brad left his home for Los Angeles when he was in college and evolved to become a powerhouse in Hollywood, he never forgot his roots and often made time to visit his parents, who still live in Missouri.

It seems, however, that Jane has an even better rapport with her son’s first wife, Jennifer Aniston.

The actor has also credited them for his impressive work ethic, noting that his dad, who grew up in abject poverty but managed to become something, inspired him to always work hard at whatever he did.

JANE AND ANGELINA JOLIE’S RELATIONSHIP

Although Brad’s parents rarely join him in the spotlight and attend red carpet events with him, they are very much invested in his life as a star. His mom, Jane, makes an effort to travel down from Missouri.

Such was the case in August 2020 when Mirror reported that the matriarch visited her ex-daughter-in-law Angelina Jolie in Los Angeles so that she could spend time with her grandchildren.

It was reported that Jane hadn’t seen her grandkids in four years since the divorce between her son and Jolie in 2016, so she took some time out to come to visit them. Brad’s cousins and niece joined her.

A source close to the family revealed that Jolie and Jane, alongside the rest of Brad’s family, have a good relationship as the actress never tried to keep her six children away from their father’s side.

It was even alleged that before the “Maleficent” actress filed for divorce, she wrote to Brad’s family letting them know that her house was always open to them whenever they wanted to visit.

JANE AND JENNIFER ANISTON’S RELATIONSHIP

It seems, however, that Jane has an even better rapport with her son’s first wife, Jennifer Aniston. Amid reports that Brad and Aniston were rekindling their love after a cozy display at the SAG 2020 Awards, Jane had some warning.

According to reports, the former school counselor warned Brad to be careful and “not mess with” Aniston. A source claimed that Jane was super close with the “Friends” actress.

The insider noted that that doting mother was hopeful about a long-term relationship between the friendly exes and didn’t want her son to jeopardize it by doing something stupid at the moment.

MEET BRAD’S BROTHER

While Brad is the most famous of the Pitt clan, his younger brother Douglas is a successful entity in his own right. Doug, as he is popularly known, is a businessman, investor, and philanthropist.

The 54-year-old, who is three years younger than the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star, is happily married to his wife Jane Pitt and together that have three lovely kids ― Sydney, Reagan, and Landon.

Like his brother, he holds philanthropy close to heart. He is a Goodwill Ambassador for Tanzania and founded a charity, Care To Learn, that tackles hunger and hygiene needs for children.
