For most, having a big family isn’t within their plans for practical reasons; but this certainly does not apply to Kansas native Britni Church, a mother-of-12.

The 32-year-old recently talked about her large family in a viral TikTok video, with two of her youngest appearing as she highlighted their slim age gap.

Church spent 17 years in and out of pregnancies, with two years being the longest she’d ever gone without nurturing life in her womb. Still, with a big family, she remains happy and at peace.

In an interview, Church shared that she initially had five children with her ex-husband. However, she went through a phase when they separated and accidentally got pregnant. As a result, she welcomed her sixth child with a different father.

Since giving life to six, Church remained single before meeting Chris at 28 years old. After a year of love, the couple welcomed their first child together.

Their blended family was never a problem for Chris as he cared for each child as his own. Being happy as parents, it wasn’t too long after that the couple found themselves expecting again.

Now with a family-of-14, the mother of a dozen took to social media to share one of the biggest things she has to face.

Church was blessed with triplets, bringing a total of 11 children to their household. Although unexpected, the proud mom shared it was a moment they “will never forget for sure.”

This year, their family welcomed baby number 12, who they believe is their last child. Having many kids at a young age does not often happen, such that Church acknowledges the challenge that comes with being on the receiving end of society’s criticism and the “stigma they place on big families.”

Nevertheless, she was happy to find a Facebook group of mothers who supported each other, especially those who took care of big families.

The mom also slammed critics who questioned whether her kids all had different fathers as she claimed. She disclosed that there were, indeed, three, but that did not mean she was any less a person.

Now with a family-of-14, the mother of a dozen took to social media to share one of the big things she has to face — large piles of laundry.

Another challenge she shared was that of going out together as a family. Church always has to make sure that they stay together, especially in crowded spaces, so that no one would get lost.

Church isn’t the only mom who struggles with having to manage all her kids. Alicia Dougherty, a mother-of-ten, also took time learning how to balance her children.

However, she found the perfect morning routine to start her day and prepare her kids for school. The 40-year-old filmed herself filling up ten lunch bags and organizing an extensive breakfast on TikTok, which quickly went viral. Like Church, her post was met with negative remarks.
