Rebel Wilson Comes Out & Reveals Her Lover Who She Finally Found after Dating 'about 50 People'
Aussie native Rebel Wilson dropped a bombshell revealing that she is dating a woman. This revelation comes after publicly dating numerous men. The experience made the Hollywood star realize that while searching for a Prince, she was meant to find a Princess instead.
When she embarked on a "Year of Love" in 2019, actress Rebel Wilson revealed on the podcast "U Up?" in May 2022 that as a then-39-year-old woman, she wanted a relationship but only had brief ones.
That was when she pushed herself to get more dating experience, revealing that she went out with about 50 people that year alone as part of the journey.

"I deliberately wanted to push myself and date a whole bunch of people and get that experience, which I know, in itself, is not normal," said Wilson, adding:
"But to me, it actually really helped in finding what I liked and what I didn't like. It was a fun thing."
Though she did not find love during that experiment, she gained something from it, personal growth. The comedian shared that she learned she could get out there, which boosted her self-confidence.
Previously, Wilson dated men such as businessman Jacob Busch from 2019 to 2021. She then dated comedian Micky Gooch Jr. for a few months in 2015 and had a brief romance with stuntman Aden Stay in 2017.
WILSON FOUND HERSELF A PRINCESS
In June 2022, Wilson announced her coming out on Instagram, stating that while she was out looking for one thing, she found another:
"I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince, but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess. #loveislove"

Along with the post, the "The Hustle" star posted a selfie of herself and her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, smiling from ear to ear for the snapshot.
Page Six reported that the pair had been spotted holding hands publicly for months. Agruma accompanied the singer to the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March 2022 and Operation Smile's annual Park City Ski Challenge charity event held in Utah in April 2022.
HOW WILSON MET HER GIRLFRIEND AFTER DATING MEN
Wilson met her love through her best friend and fellow Australian actor, Hugh Sheridan. Sheridan set up the two ladies after Wilson's saddening confession to him.
During an interview on 2Day FM's "The Morning Crew," Sheridan admitted that he had been setting up Wilson and Agruma with various people as he is a bit of a matchmaker in his spare time. He pointed out that both women were challenging to pair.
The TV presenter revealed that he was in New York and had recently split with his ex-partner when Wilson empathized with him right before telling him that she had never been in love.
After she said that, he became determined to find a suitable partner for her. His instant choice for the "Pitch Perfect" star was Agruma, who happens to be their mutual friend. Sheridan said:
"I think for a woman that is successful, it takes a strong man to stay with them, but I thought a woman with a woman that's successful might lift each other up."
During her appearance on the "U Up" podcast, Wilson revealed that she was dating but did not disclose who her romantic partner was, saying: "I am now happily in a relationship."
When asked how she met her lover, she mentioned that it was a friend set up. Wilson explained that Sheridan had known her and Agruma for five years and believed they would hit it off as a couple.
Wilson and Arguma spoke on the phone to get to know each other for weeks before meeting in person. The "Isn't It Romantic" star said it was a good way for them to get to know each other:
"It was a bit old-school in that sense, very romantic."
She added their relationship moved fast because they had a mutual pal in common, stating that things moved quickly because they got set up by a trusted source, which is different from meeting someone from a dating app.
WILSON'S NEW GIRLFRIEND IS HER EQUAL
The lovers both reside in California, and per Agruma's Instagram bio, she lives in Los Angeles. While Wilson is a film star in Hollywood, Agruma makes a living in the fashion industry.
Per her social media, she is the founder of the clothing brand Lemon Ve Limon, an LA-based "sustainable clothing brand designed to take you places in comfort and style."
Agruma is also the brand ambassador for the Turkish jewelry and watch brand Bee Goddess. Previously, she founded the jewelry brand DeLys, where she was a creative director.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she studied law at Latvijas Universitae in Riga, Latvia, from 2004 to 2009. Agruma is multi-lingual, speaking Latvian, German, Russian, and English.
She has also volunteered at several organizations, such as Planet Hope, which gifts presents to homeless children and their families during the holidays.
The second is a non-profit organization called AMIDEAST that gives opportunities to people in the Middle East. Another non-profit, the GO campaign, provides opportunities for kids from all over the world.
Her girlfriend previously told People that she is her equal partner. Wilson stated that going through the process of finding one's self-worth equates to what an individual would want from a significant other, adding it felt good having someone in her life who felt like an equal partner.
"There were times – I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great – but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have. So, it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship," said the "Senior Year" star.
Wilson once divulged that no one was interested in dating her while her 20s, stating that she was a catch if people got to know her, but there was no one genuinely interested in her romantically, making her a late bloomer.
