George Virginia Morgan Is Hilarie Burton’s Adorable Daughter with Jeffrey Dean Morgan
George Virginia Morgan is the only daughter of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton, who they had after a series of miscarriages and an abortion. Here's a look into their private lives.
George Virginia Morgan is famously known for being the only daughter of Hollywood stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton. She also has a brother named Augustus.
Jeffrey has appeared in several hit television shows, such as "Grey's Anatomy," "Supernatural," and "The Good Wife," and movies like "Watchmen," "Taking Woodstock," and "The Accidental Husband."

His career and passion align with his wife's path, having caught the acting bug early on. Hilarie famously appeared on "Dawson's Creek," "One Tree Hill," "The List," and "Solstice."
WHO IS GEORGE VIRGINIA MORGAN?
When not busy at work, the couple stays home with their two children, Gus, born in 2010, and George, born on February 16, 2018. Although the siblings have a close bond, their parents didn't intend for them to have such a wide age gap.
According to Hilarie, George's arrival on February 16 was a big blessing after a series of unfortunate events devastated her. Finally, when pregnancy news came, she cared for her unborn child carefully and protected her from the world.
"I checked her heartbeat every day, up until the day she was born," Hilarie said. The actress had a natural birth with a midwife's assistance. However, it was Jeffrey who stepped in in the last moments. "Her daddy delivered her," Hilarie revealed. The actor also shared about their birthing experience:
"We didn't use doctors, we used a midwife, so I delivered both of my kids. The first time, I didn't know; I was shocked that I was part of it. [...] This time, I was a little bit more prepared and got in and got her out immediately."
It was undoubtedly a beautiful moment for the parents, but before that glorious moment, they had experienced pain from miscarriages for over five years.
After Gus came into their lives, the couple tried to give him a sibling. It took over a year to conceive a child, but Hilarie suffered a miscarriage when they did and "took on so much guilt."
Hilarie's miscarriage had a negative impact on her everyday life. "Every single ache and every single pain, all of a sudden you're scared it's a death," she described.
Unfortunately, the couple experienced two more miscarriages during their fertility journey. In one of her miscarriages, Hilarie had to undergo an abortion after her fetus died. The abortion helped her uterus heal and recuperate for future pregnancies.
WHO ARE GEORGE VIRGINIA MORGAN'S PARENTS?
Beyond motherhood, Hilarie enjoys other activities such as knitting, gardening, baking, and collecting antiques. Her hobbies fit pretty well with her home on a Hudson Valley farm. She wanted to relocate away from the hustle and bustle of city life so her children could grow up in a similar environment as she did.
Hilarie also gets busy with work but only accepts jobs from people she knows, mainly when the projects take a while, just like her stint in "One Tree Hill."
In 2017, Hilarie brought up an incident from the past with Ben Affleck. According to Hilarie, the "Justice League" star acted inappropriately towards her in 2003, when she was just 19. Affleck did not deny any of her accusations and instead publicly apologized.

On the other hand, Jeffrey has more acting experience than his wife. He had his breakthrough role in "Supernatural" but left the series in 2007 due to undisclosed reasons. Nevertheless, his career took off following the series with several opportunities presented before him.
The couple currently lives on a 100-acre farm, Mischief Farm, where they raise their kids. They also raise different animals, such as ducks, alpacas, cattle, donkeys, cows, and hens.
One of his famous roles is in "The Walking Dead" series, which he was a fan of before joining the cast. He was also familiar with the character he was to play as he had read "The Walking Dead" comics in the past.
He also starred as Denny Duquette in "Grey's Anatomy," a character with an ending so tragic Jeffrey tried to convince the creator to change the storyline.
Although he enjoys his work, acting was not an interest that sparked immediately. He previously shared about his career:
"I had no intention of being an actor ever. I was an artist – I fancied myself an artist – I sold paintings at bars to pay my rent. And then four years later, I moved to Los Angeles and met a casting director named Elize and went from there."
Jeffrey paid tribute to his two little ones by getting a tattoo on his right knuckle for George, signifying "hugs and kisses." Meanwhile, his left-hand ink was for Gus.
INSIDE JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN AND HILARIE BURTON'S RELATIONSHIP
Jeffrey and Hilarie's love story began when they were set up for a blind date in 2009. It only took one night for them to get a long and stay connected despite the distance between them due to work.
They welcomed Gus the following year but kept his birth a secret for several months. Later that year, Jeffrey and Hilarie made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of "The Losers."
In 2021 Jeffrey celebrated a proud dad moment as his son appeared alongside him in "The Walking Dead." The doting father even posted his son's photos on Instagram.
