Kate Hudson’s Siblings: All about Oliver, Boston and Wyatt and Their Relationships with the Actress
Actress Kate Hudson's brother Oliver Hudson is also well-known. However, Kate has more siblings. Here are more details about the actress's siblings and her relationship with them.
The actress Kate Hudson was born to Goldie Hawn, an actress and producer, and Bill Hudson, a musician and actor, on April 19, 1979. At 18 months old, her parents divorced, and she was raised by her mother and her mother's longtime companion, Kurt Russell.
As a child, she loved to dance and sing, and after graduating from high school, Kate Hudson decided to try her hands at acting first. In 1998, she made her big-screen debut when she starred in "Desert Blue." Her most prominent role was in 2000 as a rock groupie in "Almost Famous."

While Kate is a prominent actress, she is not an only child as she has siblings who have always supported her throughout her career. Despite being an Oscar-nominated actress, Kate is not the only one of her siblings who have made their mark in Hollywood.
Kate has two brothers from her mother, Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell, who have made their mark in Hollywood as actors, while her step-brother Boston Russell has worked on sets. The actress is close to her brothers and celebrates them at every opportunity.
OLIVER HUDSON
Oliver shared the same mother and father with Kate and was born on September 7, 1976. He is an actor and is known for his roles as Adam Rhodes on "Rules of Engagement," Jeff Fordham on "Nashville," and Wes Gardner on "Scream Queens."
He was also one of the main cast members of Ellen DeGeneres' "Splitting Up Together." On June 9, 2006, he married actress Erinn Bartlett in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and they have three children.
In an interview, Kate revealed that she worshiped Oliver when they were growing up, and at one point, when he felt insecure with his body, she called him a Greek god because she wanted to make him feel confident.
Even though she thought she was doing the right thing by building up his body confidence, Kate said she has been unable to stop feeling embarrassed about having said that.
Oliver also acknowledged in the interview that when they were kids, he felt like he did not treat Kate right sometimes. They never hung out until he left for college when she was 15 or 16. When he returned, he and his friends realized she had cute girlfriends.
Now that they are both parents, they live close to each other and even bring up their children as siblings. Kate either has Oliver's children, or she sends her children over to his house, and then they meet up for dinner.
In 2019, Kate and Oliver started a podcast series called "Sibling Revelry." They started the podcast to encourage people to appreciate their differences with their siblings and other family members while striving for more closeness and connection.

BOSTON RUSSELL
Boston Russell is Kurt's eldest son, born on February 16, 1980, to Kurt's ex-wife, actress Season Hubley. He is not fond of being in the spotlight like his other siblings and prefers to stay out of it.
However, he has attended a few red carpet events with his family. Despite not pursuing a career in Hollywood, in 1996, he worked behind the scenes on the "Executive Decision" set alongside his dad.

WYATT RUSSELL
On July 10, 1986, Kurt and Hawn welcomed Wyatt Russell, their first child together. Wyatt started as a professional ice hockey player before becoming an actor and a producer.
He has starred in "Escape from L.A., "Soldier," "Cowboys & Aliens," "This is 40," "We Are What We Are," "22 Jump Street," "Ingrid Goes West," "Lodge 49," "Overlord," "The Woman in the Window," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," and more recently in "Under the Banner of Heaven."

KATE HUDSON ALSO HAS THREE HALF-SIBLINGS FROM HER ESTRANGED FATHER
Kate and Oliver consider Kurt their dad, as Bill, their biological dad, has been estranged from them in the past years. While Oliver has publicly addressed the issue, Kate rarely talks about her relationship with Bill.
Bill, a vocalist for The Hudson Brothers, revealed that after he walked out of his marriage with Hawn in 1980, he was painted as the bad guy. Although Kate once said that Bill was around when they were young but "lost interest" as they grew older.
After Bill and Hawn went their separate ways, he married "Laverne & Shirley" actress Cindy Williams on May 1, 1982. On November 23, 1982, they welcomed their first child, Emily Taylor Hudson.
On April 9, 1986, they welcomed their second child, William Zachary "Zach" Hudson. However, after 18 years of marriage, they finalized their divorce on December 15, 2000. In 2006, Bill welcomed a daughter, Lalania Hudson, with his former girlfriend, Caroline Graham.

On January 8, 2021, Kate, who had long said she had forgiven Bill, also revealed that she was ready to reconnect with him. On their podcast, she said to Oliver:
"You know what I've been thinking about lately? Dad. I've been thinking about our sisters that we don't spend any time with and our brother — brothers. We've got four siblings we don't spend any time with."
Kate felt it would be nice to connect with everyone, especially with her sisters, as everyone was getting older. Even though their podcast talks about familial relationships, they never acknowledge that they have four other siblings.
