Garner said she "wept" the day before having her middle child because she was worried she could not give both her children the same love.

Women's "bounce back" after having children is a constant conversation on social media. This was another issue Garner opened up about on the Happy Baby Happy Mommy podcast; Garner addressed some of the remarks she has gotten from people about her body.

She clarified that she does have a baby bump because her body has carried three babies.

The actress confessed the bounce back was a different experience for her. Garner acknowledged that some women could return to their "slim" bodies after giving birth, but that was not the case for her.

While fans might be concerned about her baby bump, that does not mean she is not fit. The actress is all about health and caring for her body, but Garner does not gravitate towards core exercises like planks and sit-ups. She said:

"I can work really hard, and I can be really fit and I will still look like a woman who's had three babies, and I always will."

According to her trainer Beth Nicely who is also a dancer, broadway performer, and marathon runner, said Garner "likes to work hard, she's very, very strong, and she's a great dancer,"

Nicely said her workout routine with Garner usually consists of a "solid warm up," followed by "heart pumping dances."

Garner has also taken on boxing; thus, Nicely includes a few plyometric boxing exercises. To bring the heart rate down, the pair get into strength training which involves lifting weights.

Niceley also said Garner enjoys her personally created challenge called "The Circuit" This routine includes eight box jumps, 40 jump rope reps, and 16 leaps over a mini-trampoline while holding a 10-pound medicine ball.

The actress said self-love has become stronger since she stopped looking at pictures of herself she did not like. On one of those days when one does not feel their best, Garner advises people to step away from the mirror.

The actress encouraged people not to choose to beat themselves up about their appearance but rather put that energy into doing something nice for someone or go for a workout and turn that feeling into dopamine.

When it comes to a beauty routine, Garner said she keeps it very minimal. Spending time on set and getting dolled up is something she likes to leave for work and have a simpler routine off duty.

This is because Garner does not want her kids to get to "the actor version" of her; she enjoys the surprised looks on her kid's faces whenever she dresses up. The actress explained:

"I want to look normal and I want to normalize looking normal. I always have felt really strongly about that. And then if I'm dressed up, I like that my kids are like, 'Woo, look at my mom!'"

Garner is relieving herself of the pressure of being perfect, primarily because of her career. Therefore, the actress expressed how she wants to normalize looking normal, which she has always advocated for.
