Camilla Made 'Funny' Comments about Harry & Meghan's Son Archie's Appearance before His Birth, Claims Book
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's explosive conversation with Oprah Winfrey revealed many shocking details about the family, especially the alleged concerns about Archie and Lilibet's skin tone. Two years later, details about the comments made by the family and Camilla are revealed.
When the world discovered Prince Harry was stepping out of his bachelor days and getting serious with an American actress, Meghan Markle, it was all eyes on them.
Harry, who has been one of the rebellious members of the family, brought a woman of color as his wife, which was also an exciting aspect of expanding the royal family.

Everything from the televised royal wedding looked perfect from the outside. But after the couple embraced their royal titles and responsibilities for a while, Harry and Markle announced they were stepping down from their duties.
This was a never heard incident within a royal family and shocked the rest of the public; therefore, the tell-all interview of Harry and Markle with Oprah Winfrey was much anticipated because the world wondered what could have pushed the couple to such a life-altering decision?
When Markle and Harry sat down with Winfrey, a line of surprising details were revealed; one of the stand-outs was the concerns Markle said the royal family had about the skin color of their then unborn child.

Winfrey tried her best to get the name of a member troubled by Archie's skin tone, but the Duke and Duchess did not budge.
Soon after the interview, Prince William appeared at a school in Stratford, east London, and reporters did not hesitate to ask the Duke of Cambridge if his family was racist.
William responded to the question and said, "We're very much not a racist family." The reporters also asked if he had spoken to Harry, but the Duke of Cambridge said he is still yet to. Since the interview, Harry and William's relationship has been distraught and continues to be a working progress.

The speculation about which family initially raised questions about how dark Archie would be, did not die down. According to Page six, Royal expert Omid Scobie said there were "several conversations" within the royal family about Archie, who is now three and has a little sister Lilibet,1.
At a Foreign Press Association event in London, 2021, Scobie made claims that the discussions became a much bigger issue because they started involving more royal members.
Scobie is reported, as Markle and Harry's preferred reporter, although, when the royal expert was asked to reveal the name of the person who initially brought up Archie's skin tone, he responded, "pass."

Reports said this was because Scobie did not have enough sources to verify his statement. But the reporter added that the main question was, "Did this come from a senior member of the royal family, a future head of state?'
Scobie continued and said:
"If that individual is a head of state, then we as a public have a right to know, because of course that is someone that is our head of state, head of the Commonwealth. "And if they have a race issue, we should know."
However, according to Christopher Andersen's book; Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, it was reportedly Prince Charles that was initially concerned about Harry and Markle's children's skin tone.

According to Instyle, the book does not explicitly say that Charles was the initiator of all these speculations, but a specific conversation included points to the Prince of Wales.
One of the details discussed in Bower's book is the comment made by Camilla about Harry's future children.
Prince Charles allegedly asked Camilla, "I wonder what the children will look like?" which was after Markle and Harry's engagement was announced.

Reportedly, Camilla was surprised by the question and responded, "absolutely gorgeous." However, Charles apparently refined his question and said: "I mean, what do you suppose their children's complexion might be?"
When a representative of Charles and Camilla was asked to comment on the allegation, they denied everything and said, "This is fiction and not worth further comment."

Tom Bower, author of a newly released biography, Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors, revealed a few details about the book.
Bower claimed people were delighted for the royal family to welcome a "mixed race girl," but everything changed. The author left out details of why things change as cliffhangers for people to read the book.
Bower also did not have nice things to say about Markle; the biographer claimed the Duchess of Sussex did not understand the Monarchy, "she thought the royal family was like Hollywood," said Bower.

Additionally, Bower admitted that his sources about Markle were all people that did not like her. And when asked if that does not present his book as biased, the author said he only left details that he knows can be backed up.
One of the details discussed in Bower's book is the comment made by Camilla about Harry's future children. The Duchess of Cornwall found herself mixed up in the royal race issue when she said it would be funny if Harry's children had ginger afro hair.
This comment came up in 2016 when Harry had just started dating Markle. However, a close source to Camilla said this was all "nonsense” and needed no comments.

Nonetheless, the relationship between Camilla and Markle was not always estranged. The Duchess of Conwarm accepted Markle because she knows what it feels like to marry into the royal family as a divorcee.
Therefore, having shared interests and similar experiences brought the two royal wives together, but since Harry's and Markle's royal exist, things have not been the same.
