Besides his incredible career as a director, Allan-Blitz is also in a relationship with Brie Larson, an actress. But before the 35-year-old director met his now-girlfriend, he was in a committed relationship with "NCIS" actress Maria Bello. The pair started dating in 2015 after the actress broke up with her partner.

On the other hand, Larson also had a few previous relationships before meeting Allan Blitz. She met Allan-Blitz six months after breaking up with her boyfriend of five years, Alex Greenwald, who is a lead singer in the rock band Phantom Planet.

The former couple got engaged in 2016 after the first meeting in 2013. The reason behind their split was reportedly their busy schedules. Greenwald and Larson have remained close; however, Larson even reportedly gave Greenwald a shoutout in 2016 while receiving the Academy Award for best actress during the Oscars.

But before Larson dated the rock band member, she was in a relationship with John Patrick Amedori, a musician and actor. The couple was together from November 2008 to 2012. The actress's first love was Cody Linley, a musician, and actor. Linley and the actress were in a relationship from early 2006 to 2007.

Larson and Allan-Blitz had quite a considerable age gap with their former partners. The actress's former fiancé Greenwald was ten years older than her, while the director's ex Bello was 20 years older than him. Larson and Allan-Blitz, however, only have a 2-year age gap.
