Kane Brown's Wife Is Not Just a Singer; She's a Lot More
Katelyn is a well-known face in the entertainment industry, having appeared on the red carpet several times with her husband, including at the MTV Music Video Awards in August 2022.
Katelyn is not a new player in the world of music, and she is a lot more than just Kane's wife. In fact, she took an online course in music management at Berklee College of Music, where she graduated in 2019.
Katelyn pursued a singing career before starting her studies at the prestigious university, and she even signed a deal with a music management company.
The talented musician released a song and music video titled "24KT" in August 2014. However, she postponed her rising career to accompany Kane on his music tour.
Despite the long road to where she is now, Katelyn is grateful for the opportunity to pursue a career path that matches her interests. She penned on Instagram a lengthy message about finishing her studies. She wrote:
"Today was one day I will never forget. I'm not going to write anything too sappy, but finishing my education was the most rewarding thing I have done for myself thus far."
While she was on tour with her husband, she recalled spending days searching for a good internet connection to finish her homework. Katelyn thanked Kane for his support and for making her degree seem "cool."
Kane popped the question to her while watching "The Amityville Horror," about newlyweds living in a haunted house.
Katelyn and her husband are the proud parents of two lovely daughters: Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane. Their first daughter was born in October 2019, and the youngest child in December 2021.
She Helps Her Spouse with His Business
Katelyn said she is more interested in the business side of music than in reviving her music. She revealed to Berklee Online that she and Kane had openly discussed creating their own label and recording company.
She realized that what she learned in school was the same as what Kane had to deal with in his career. She has assisted the country singer in making business decisions thanks to her keen business sense.
Kane, for his part, stated that his wife's degree was a significant asset to him in his line of work. Overjoyed with her feats, Katelyn proudly displays her diploma alongside her husband's gold records.
It Was Love at First Sight
Kane met Katelyn in 2015, but only briefly. He recalled that he was supposed to appear in her music video, but he could not do so because his show was scheduled on the same day.
The following year, he reconnected with Katelyn after a mutual friend brought her to another music gig. Smitten by her beauty, he invited her to accompany him to Nashville the next day. They clicked and became inseparable.
From Proposal to Their Beautiful Wedding
In April 2017, the country singer proposed to Katelyn less romantically. Kane Brown popped the question to her while watching "The Amityville Horror," about newlyweds living in a haunted house.
Although it was a spontaneous decision, the musician admitted it was a strange idea. He said he planned a more romantic one but couldn't wait to ask Katelyn for her hand in marriage.
In October 2018, the couple tied the knot at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, in front of 200 guests, including family and close friends. The pair continued to thrive in their careers since then.
Despite having a lot on their plates, they made sure to strengthen their relationship by keeping up with their routine such as going on dates and spending evenings at home with their children and their dog.
