Kenny Smith's Failed Marriage with Former Model Gwendolyn Osborne: What We Know About Her and Their Divorce
Kenny Smith's ex-wife, Gwendolyn Osborne, was one of the models on "The Price is Right" game show. The couple had married in 2006 and were together until 2018, when she filed for divorce.
Gwendolyn Osborne is a model, actress, musician, and businesswoman. Although she was famous for being the wife of Kenny Smith, she had always had her business and career.
As a model, she was one of the ladies on "The Price is Right" game show and was on it for over 12 years before moving on in 2017 to other interests.
Since deciding to leave the show, she has continuously worked hard to make a name for herself. She has also proven that she has what it takes to stand by herself.
Gwendolyn and Kenny first met in 2004 when they attended the same charity event. Two years after their first meeting, they married in early September 2006.
The wedding was a lavish private ceremony at their home in Stevenson Ranch, California. They had guests, including Reggie Miller, Kenny Anderson, Charles Barkley, and more.
Gwendolyn opted for a pale blue couture dress by Canadian designer Ines Di Santo, and the Nigerian-American celebrity jeweler Chris Aire designed their custom-made wedding bands.

Gwendolyn was born in the United Kingdom. By accident, she became a model on "The Price is Right" in 2005. Before joining the show, she was on the set of "The Bold and the Beautiful."
After the game show's casting directors spotted her, they asked her to join them. She became one of the show's most recognizable faces in no time. However, in October 2017, she filmed her last show and moved on to other interests.
Besides working on the show, she has starred in movies and series. Gwendolyn is known for her roles in "Any Given Sunday," "Snow Dogs," "Charmed," "Ocean Ave.," "Huff," "The Young and the Restless," "Beauty and the Baller," "Wonder Woman 1984," and more.
She also starred and served as an associate producer of "Mommies: An American Parody" and produced seven episodes of "Meet the Smiths."
After leaving the game show, Gwendolyn became the Chief Operating Officer of the entertainment company Smith Entertainment Group which she co-founded with her then-husband.
The firm planned to create and produce projects for ITV's broadcast, cable, and streaming channels, including reality, lifestyle, docuseries, and competitive shows.
In addition to her career, Gwendolyn is also a mother of three. Before her marriage to Kenny, she was in a relationship and had a daughter, Monique.
After marriage, she and Kenny welcomed two children, a son, Malloy, and a daughter, London. The model once revealed she was scared during her pregnancy because she was working as a model and was unsure how it would affect her career.
On August 7, 2019, she released her single "Give My Love." TBL directed the hip-dance tune with a music video. Although she reportedly had an album in the works, she is yet to give an update on the direction of her music career.
The Couple Was in a Reality Series
In 2014, there was an announcement that Gwendolyn and her husband would have their reality series, "Meet the Smiths." The TBS series was to be shot between Los Angeles and Atlanta.
The series, which premiered on April 3, 2015, towards the end of the NBA season, focused on their family's domestic life with their five blended kids.
It was executive produced by Kenny, Sean Travis, Nick Lee, Jeff Altrock, and Jason A. Carbone, while Gwendolyn served as a producer with Brian B. Ferretti.

The series also showed how Gwendolyn and Kenny had different parenting styles and how they dealt with their jobs, busy schedules, and children's careers.
It featured her oldest daughter, an actress, and Kenny's children from his previous marriage to the actress Dawn Reavis. Their children, described as talented, have careers in the entertainment and sports industry.
Kenny's son, Kenneth Smith Jr., took after his father and is a basketballer, while his daughter, Kayla Brianna Smith, is an R&B singer.
Their Divorce Included a Lot of Details
In October 2018, Gwendolyn filed for divorce from Kenny, and eight months later, their divorce proceeding took a terrible turn. The former model asked a judge to embellish the retired basketballer's salary so he would pay his back support.
The legal documents noted that he had to pay her over $1,000,000, equal to the properties they owned together. If he defaulted, his Encino home in California would become collateral.
Their settlement showed that Kenny would only lose his Los Angeles home if he defaulted on his payments. He was also required to pay Gwendolyn over $16,000 in child support per month.
In addition, the retired basketballer, who co-hosts "Inside the NBA" with Shaquille O'Neal, reportedly earns over $200,000 per month and has to pay over $25,000 in spousal support per month. All payments were to happen until the end of 2028.
The couple would share joint legal and physical custody of their children, while their tuition and health insurance were his sole responsibilities.
Kenny and Gwendolyn agreed they would continuously take co-parenting therapy for the health and welfare of their children. They also decided to split the cost of their therapy sessions.
The retired basketballer did not lose his two homes in New Jersey to the divorce. In addition, he kept his Bentley while she had to return her BMW.
They also agreed to split the income, royalties, and residuals they got from the shows they either co-created or worked on, as they labeled these "community intellectual property."
