In 2003, Harrison gushed about his relationship with Calista, who is 23 years his junior. He addressed their age difference and said that age does not matter when it comes to matters of the heart, adding his romance with the TV star did not catch him off guard:
"Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life. I was not surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn't surprised that I did."
Harrison, 80, was born in July 1942, and Calista, 58, in November 1964. The lovebirds met at the Golden Globe Awards in 2002 and hit it off instantly. They began dating that same year and wed eight years later in 2010.
Harrison Has Five Kids from Different Marriages
Before meeting Calista, Harrison was married to his second wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison. The former couple was married from 1983 to 2004 and welcomed two kids – Georgia and Malcolm Ford.
Before his second marriage, the "Blade Runner" star was married to his first wife, chef Mary Marquardt. They wed in 1964 but divorced in 1979 and share two children, sons, Ben and Williard Ford. Harrison is also a stepdad to Calista's adopted son, Liam Flockhart.

In January 2010, the father of five got candid about his first-time parenthood experience and revealed he became a dad at a young age. He added he had come a long way in fatherhood:
"My first child was born when I was 25. Babies raising babies is not a pretty sight. I am much better at it now."
Harrison divulged that his then-fiancee Calista and son Liam determined how he spent his weekends. He would do "whatever they want to do" by accompanying them to go hiking or motorcycle riding.
The couple adopted Liam in 2001, who is now a full-time college student. In 2019, the pair were spotted helping their son move into his dorm at Amherst College in Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
In August 2021, the family of three went on a vacation in Croatia and went sightseeing while there. During the trip, Liam was spotted enjoying a meal on a hotel balcony with his mom.
Harrison's first child is Ben, born in September 1967 and has made a name for himself. Ben is a famous chef, a published cookbook author of "Taming the Feast," and a restaurant owner. He is a father of two, Waylon and Ethan, whom he shares with his wife, Emily Ford.
Harrison's second child, Williard, arrived in May 1969, and like his brother, he did not follow in their father's footsteps. Williard is the owner of the Ludwig Clothing Company and was also the owner of the now-defunct Strong Sports Gym, which unfortunately had to close down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also a father of two to Eliel and Guiliana.
Harrison welcomed his third son, Malcolm, in October 1987, and unlike his older brothers, he forged a path in show business like his dad and became an actor. Malcolm appeared in the 2004 film "Water to Wine." He is also a band member of The Dough Rollers, and together with his bandmates, the singer has produced two albums.

Harrison's only daughter and fourth child, Georgia, was born in June 1990. Although she is not as well-known as her father in showbiz, she previously starred in movies such as 2003's "American Milkshake." Georgia has epilepsy, and her dad has spoken admirably about her:
"I admire a lot of things about her. I admire her talent, her strength. She's my hero. I love her. When you have a loved one who suffers from this disease, it can be devastating."
Harrison Is a Grandfather of Four
Besides being a dad, Harrison is also a grandparent. He became a first-time granddad when his second oldest child, Williard, made him a grandfather after welcoming his kid, Eliel, in 1993, followed by his second child, Guiliana, in 1997.
His eldest son Ben gave him two grandsons, Ethan, born in 2000, and Waylon, who arrived in 2010. Harrison's three other children have yet to have their own kids and make him a grandparent once again.

In August 2021, Ben posted a photo featuring him and his sons at a sports game. The trio posed while beaming for the camera, with Waylon holding his two fingers up.
In June of that same year, the father of two shared another picture of him and his boys sporting golf shirts. Ben coordinated with his youngest son in a white tee while his oldest wore a brown one as they all smiled for the camera.
Ethan is a college baseball player recruited by the Next College Student Athlete (NSCA) from Greencastle-Antrim High School in Pennsylvania. The youngster plays for the Stars Baseball club.
Meanwhile, his cousin Eliel is known for films including (2015) "Julien," (2017) "The Meyerowitz Stories," and 2020's "The French Dispatch."
On December 24, 2012, Harrison took his grandson Ethan to the Los Angeles Mission's Christmas Eve, where they helped feed homeless people. The duo was pictured widely smiling while wearing red aprons at the event.
The same photo was featured on the E! News website in January 2014 about celebrity grandparents, and it showed the pair happily helping out during the festive season.
The "Air Force One" star was also photographed kissing his younger grandson Waylon on the forehead at the Los Angeles Mission.
