Anton James Pacino is one of the acclaimed actor Al Pacino's twin children. Anton's mother is actress Beverly D'Angelo, who became famous as Ellen Griswold in the "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" movies.

Al and Beverly's son has a twin sister whose personality seems opposite. Considering their advanced age at the time—Al was 61, and Beverly was 50—the couple welcomed their twins through in vitro fertilization (IVF) in January 2001.

Anton James Pacino's Parents Once Fought for His & Sister's Custody

Anton's parents started dating in 1997, but they had a rocky relationship that caused them to break up. In 2003, Anton's father and Beverly engaged in a contentious custody battle in a Manhattan, New York courtroom.

Although they were together for six years, Anton's mom and Al Pacino never married. Beverly pointed out Al's neglect of their child, claiming he had never changed a diaper. She also accused him of being a "controlling, harassing man."

Meanwhile, Al's lawyer, Martin Wasser, alleged that the actor's ex-partner only used their child to get what she wanted. The lawyer said she wanted to be paid more if Al wanted to spend an extra hour with their child.

They reportedly settled their child support issues in 2014, a year after their bitter court feud. Magistrate David Kirshblum of the Manhattan Family Court said both sides agreed to have a settlement of their own free will.

Beverly left the courtroom after feeling satisfied with the settlement and said she "felt terrific" and "very happy." The magistrate, on the other hand, never disclosed any financial details.

While the magistrate did not reveal how much Beverly would receive from Al, it was reported that the legendary actor continues to pay his former girlfriend $35,000 per month for childcare.

Anton James Pacino Shies Away from the Public after Dad's Struggle with Privacy

Anton isn't often seen in public, partly because it's hard for his father to take him outside. Because of Al's celebrity status, he revealed in 2015 that he had learned to live his life anonymously. Al added:

"Fame is different now than it was 20 years ago – I don't know what the hell it is now!"

Al also stated that he had not gone to the supermarket or taken the subway in years. Going out and not being recognized by people would be a "luxury" for him.

Anton, who is not active on social media, does successfully in a different field. According to Beverly, Anton owns a video game company and has dedicated his time to the industry.

Meanwhile, Olivia, Anton's twin sister, is more open about her personal life. She has an Instagram account, where she regularly posts about her daily activities but never shares about his twin brother. She also streams on Twitch quite frequently.

Al admitted his children changed his life.

Al admitted his children changed his life. He said he was no longer the person who put work ahead of what was important in his life, saying: "Acting used to be everything; now it's just a small part."
