"Bradley, from the first moment I laid eyes on you I wanted and needed to know you. Now I feel so lucky to love you."

When Metz discovered his profile on Bumble, she saw on his picture that he had a "This Is Us" coffee mug, and immediately felt reluctant to speak with him; being one of the show's stars, she thought it would have been "too weird."

However, after they began talking, Metz and Collins found they had much in common, including mutual friends who were songwriters and music publishers. Metz remarked that they had visited the same rooms but never met.
