Unfortunately, the pair split in the 1970s over a nasty feud. However, Paul continued his music career and produced more successful albums, "Still Crazy After All These Years" and Graceland, and earned himself 16 Grammy awards.

Simon wrote songs for the band, so after the split, he continued to be known and respected as a songwriter that shifted the music culture, giving him commercial recognition.

Simon also broke a record and became part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. First when he was part of Simon and Garfunkel in 1990 and again in his solo career in 2001.

However, the rest of Simon's children are prominent musicians. His eldest son Harper made his debut on "Sesame Street" when he sang "Bingo."

Adrian joined Simon on his "Surprise" tour and played the keyboard, then went on to form a band, "The Ivy League," with three of his high school friends. Paul's daughter, Lulu, is a singer and is a huge fan of Carley Rae, Jaspen, and Kim Petras.
