When the show was in its final season, Coulier played in a charity hockey game and invited his co-stars to the match. Candace made an appearance at the game alongside actress Lori Loughlin. Together, the ladies scouted the players on the ice rink, and Candace pointed out that one player had already caught her eye:

"We were looking at these two cute men on the ice, and I was like, 'I want to meet that one, the blonde one,' which was Val."

While there, Coulier introduced the TV personality to her future husband, and their romance quickly blossomed. Candace divulged in November 2014:

The lovebirds tied the knot in 1996, and Candace shared that she signed a hockey stick as a thank-you gesture to Coulier for bringing her to her now-spouse. However, she expressed that she perhaps needs to do more to show gratitude to him.

After getting hitched, she and her husband started a family and welcomed their first child, daughter Natasha, in August 1998, followed by the couple's eldest son, Lev, in February 2000. The duo's youngest son Maksim arrived in January 2002.

Candace's Daughter Takes after Her

Today, Candace and Valeri's only daughter is 24 years old and has a singing talent, unlike other family members. Natasha, a God-fearing young woman like her mother, once said that her mom told her that her ability to sing was a "God-given talent." In turn, she stated:

"I was like, 'I want to use my gift to glorify God and bring glory to his name to use a platform that I have, and when I do have a platform, to speak about things that are important."

Natasha does not only sing, but she has also followed in her mother's acting footsteps. When asked whether she would have a career change, she said it was unlikely, adding:

"Right now, I'm just following what makes me happy, and for me, music and writing a book, all these things make me happy. [..] If one day I decide that it's not my plan, then whatever I'm meant to do, I think I will end up doing."

Natasha shared that she has a prayer journal and when asked whether she prayed about appearing in the singing competition "The Voice," she said no. The California native appeared on the hit show in October 2016, and her mom could not be prouder of her.

Natasha admitted that her mother's success gave her a glimpse of what being a star looks like as she used to accompany her to work when she was little:

"Growing up, I would go to set with her, and I would see her with all of her castmates, and I got a taste of what it would be like to be onstage. That was something that attracted me a lot."

Meanwhile, Candace divulged that she and her husband had taken a step back concerning their daughter's musical career choice. "It's been her thing, and we've stayed away. So, this will be her accomplishment and nothing that we've done."

When Natasha performed on "The Voice" for the blind auditions, Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, admitted he did not know who she was after turning his red chair.

Though he may not have recognized Natasha, fans noted she looked just like her famous mother and even inherited her eyes.

In November 2021, Candace posted a photo of her and Natasha donning denim jumpsuits and wearing their blonde hairs down in curly hairdos with a caption that read, "Love you!" Fans commented on the post and mentioned the mother-and-daughter duo look alike.

"Twins," wrote one Instagram user, while another mistook the pair for siblings, asking, "Older sister??" Another stated, "Get your looks from your mom. Very beautiful."

Natasha does not only have her mother's features, but she is also an actress like her. In October 2021, the young woman shared images from the set of a movie she had worked on, "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story."

She captioned the post: BTS from a couple of months with some of my favorite people, @heatherlocklear, @ella.dorsch @kristine_carlson @dontsweat_smallstuff."

When Natasha turned 23, she was already an established actress and appeared in films like "The Heart of Christmas" and "Switched for Christmas," including TV series such as "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries."

Apart from acting and singing, the Hollywood star is also a published author of the book, "Let's Be Real: Living Life as an Open and Honest You."

Natasha's mom gave birth to her when she was 22 years old, Candace revealed on an Instagram post in August 2020, alongside a baby picture of her.

Candace was celebrating her daughter's 22nd birthday when she penned a heartfelt tribute for her on social media: "I honestly don't understand how I birthed a Russian beauty queen. I love you, sweet pea."

Meanwhile, her child expressed gratitude to her and her dad. Writing on Instagram: "The Lord blessed me with the best parents I could've ever asked for."

Natasha Inherited Her Faith from Her Mother

Natasha was born into a Christian family and inherited her faith in God from her mother. She revealed the family of five goes to church every Sunday at Shepherds the Westside.

Usually, they go to a farmer's market first, then church, followed by a hockey game afterward. Natasha explained that they make Sunday a "family day."

When asked whether she had trouble being outspoken about her faith, Natasha said seeing her family members being vocal about it and other people who influence her life doing it and getting positive reactions gave her confidence to do it too. The movie star said she wants to be "a light" by living a Christ-life.

Natasha disclosed that she and her loved ones are prayer warriors who pray before having their meals, before going to bed, and when leaving the house, adding:

"We're constantly crying out to Jesus, and that is what prayer is."

In March 2022, Natasha shared a video with her Instagram followers which showed her being submerged in water by a pastor and wrote: "God is GOOD!"

Candace also reshared the clip on her Instagram feed and expressed that she was "overwhelmed by God's goodness and grace." She congratulated her daughter, adding that now that all her three kids had been baptized, nothing else could compare.

In November 2022, the producer faced backlash for her homophobic comments regarding religion. Natasha defended her mom on social media in a lengthy post, noting "the media is a VILE space" and that her words were taken out of context. She encouraged her mother to block out the outside noise because she knew her heart well enough, and the battle was not for her to fight.
