Tua Tagovailoa and His wife Annah Gore Married Quietly
For two weeks in mid-2022, Tua Tagovailoa's wife, Annah Tagovailoa, had her Miami Dolphins quarterback husband all to herself. But then the newlywed's secret bliss was scooped by a sports reporter.
Tua Tagovailoa and his wife, Annah Gore Tagovailoa, are one of the most private couples in professional sports. Despite the husband being a decorated sports star, there are no photos of the two together at an event or award ceremony.
It is safe to assume that knowing the scrutiny wives and girlfriends of professional athletes face, she placed an embargo on her friends and family from sharing information about her and her paramour. However, a few clues about the couple remain on the interweb.

Tua Keeps His Personal Life Private
In an industry where most elite athletes build personal brands by sharing their lives on social media to leverage their online popularity into lucrative brand endorsements, Tua relies only on the strength of his game.
Annah closely guards her 6 Instagram posts behind the privacy setting.
Not even the leak of his wedding news could draw the guarded QB out to make an impassioned message on social media. Instead, he gave a Twitter shout-out to the Dophins supporters who show up and "bring that energy. "
His Wife Seems to Support Him in His Privacy Stance
According to one report, Annah Gore and Tua's relationship spans back to high school, and they both attended the University of Alabama. In one of the few images available on her private Facebook page, she is wearing an oversized jersey of the college football team.
If she and the football player were high school sweethearts, it would mean that she had a very lonely senior prom. With an image of a shiny trophy from the Rivals Quarterback Challenge, he tweeted on March 14, 2016, "It was worth it not going to prom #GodisGood."
Annah closely guards her 6 Instagram posts behind the privacy setting. All information the University of Alabama alum is comfortable divulging on the closed account is that she goes by her married last name and a link to a GoFundMe page.
With her sisters, Ally Plumb and Grace Sinclair, she organized a crowdfunding effort for her cousin Brittney Tilly who was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The sisters fell a few thousand dollars short of their $25,000 goal, just passing the $21,000 mark. Annah alone raised $11,200 from just two donations.
She also has two brothers, Garrison Gore and Ayden Gore, and her mother is Christy Gore. Her cover image on Facebook is a snap of what looks like her high school graduation surrounded by her big family.
Tua Wasn't Happy That Marriage Info Leaked to the Press
A Florida sports journalist, Andy Slater, tweeted on August 2, 2022, that the Miami Dolphins quarterback had added to his ring collection.
He cited a "clergy source" for the scoop that Tua had gotten married 10 days before the start of training camp. Hardcore fans of the Miami Dolphins scoffed off the "scoop" as old news, but the larger NFL fandom was quite shocked.
On the sidelines of training camp a day later, a visibly annoyed Tua dryly wondered if the reporter who leaked the news of his secret marriage had staked out the courthouse for an entire week. He considered the breach of his privacy "disrespectful."
Annah and Tua had their "very special" day on July 18, 2022, in Davie, Florida, according to a filing at the Broward County Clerk of Courts. An admiring supporter named Tua and Jimmy Butler, "the most elite athletes at hiding their personal lives." Another fan did not buy Tua's privacy excuse, as Annah did not have the profile of other NFL spouses like Ciara.
The QB's mother, Diane Tagovailoa's Twitter feed, which is flooded with information related to her son's career and charity work, did not make any mention of her son's marriage.
