Shepherd, born June 12, 1977, in Shreveport, Louisiana, is a blues rock guitarist with the Kenny Shepherd Band. Per his website, he had his first platinum-selling album when he was a teenager.

His music has been used in productions such as "NCIS: Los Angeles," "The Fan," and "American Dad!" He has picked up five Grammy nominations and two Billboard Music Awards, among other nods and wins throughout his career.

His "long-time friend" Ringo Starr featured on his 2014 album "Goin' Home." He had a cameo as himself in the TV comedy "Movie Stars."
