She studied Esthetics and Makeup at Michigan College of Beauty-Troy before landing a job as a makeup artist and Esthetician at Mac Cosmetics for two years. After gaining experience, Sarah became self-employed.

During an interview with 104.1 The Edge, Brendon revealed that Sarah is also a great cook. The band frontman praised his wife's culinary skills—who is of Polish and Irish descent—and her combination of foods from her mixed heritage.

Much like her husband, Sarah rarely interacts on social media. In the past, she hopped on Instagram Live and shared she was a lover of pop-punk and regularly attended concerts. It was how she met her good friend, Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams. Sarah said:

"I met Paramore in 2006. They were on Warped Tour, and I met them... that’s how I met Hayley; we’ve been friends for so long now. She’s just like my sister, and I love her so much… She’s such a good person.”

Hayley proved not only to be Sarah's friend but also her wing-woman. Sarah and Brendon first met in Michigan in 2009; fresh off the stage, he recalled seeing "the most gorgeous creature" outside his tour bus. "I didn't know what to do. I was like, freaking out," he said.

After plucking up the courage to make a move, Sarah and Brendon ended up enjoying each other's company all night, ending the evening with drinks at a bar. However, Sarah caught Brendon off guard when she revealed that she had a boyfriend.

"I basically told her, 'If you don't leave this bus right now, I'm going to try to kiss you, and I'm not that guy,'" said Brendon. Nearly a year passed before their paths crossed again, although this time, Sarah was single. That is where Hayley came into the picture.

Well aware that Sarah and Brendon had feelings for each other, Hayley reacquainted them during one of her shows with her ex-husband, New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert. Brendon shared:

"So Hayley brought her in and it worked out really well. It was wild. We both felt something crazy and luckily her old relationship ended and I swooped in all smooth."

Sarah's old relationship had been with Paramore bassist Jeremy Davis. The former couple dated for multiple years before going their separate ways. In December 2015, Jeremy eventually left Paramore.

After two years of dating, Brendon asked Sarah to be his wife; by 2013, they were Mr. and Mrs. Urie. Their floral wedding took place in Malibu and included many floral details.

Sarah shared that her wedding was equal parts romantic and whimsical, as friends and family joined them for the celebration. She added:

"It was very important for us to have this day reflect our love for one another… every detail really came together the day of and we became very emotional when we finally got to see it all at once.... It truly felt like a real-life fairy tale."

Sarah Urie Inspired Brendon's "Panic! At the Disco" Album

In 2015, Brendon and his band announced that they were releasing their fifth album, "Death of a Bachelor," which was "a throw-out to" Sarah.

Sarah was not alone on the list of Brendon's inspirations behind his album, as he revealed that he was a huge Frank Sinatra fan.

Brandon wrote the album at his shared home with Sarah while reflecting on how much his lifestyle had changed. Before Sarah's husband met her, he was a single man constantly on the road with his band.

"I never thought I was able to let go of the past... it's just been a smorgasbord of craziness for ten years… and that was really talking about me as a single guy -- and now I'm married," he said

Coming into his own as producer and songwriter, "Death of a Bachelor" was somewhat of a confessional for Sarah's husband. He had started Panic! At The Disco with Ryan Ross, Jon Walker, and Spencer Smith, who all cut ties with the band over the years, leaving Brendon as the only original band member.

After growing comfortable in his skin, Bredon became more candid in his music. Sarah was not alone on the list of Brendon's inspirations behind his album, as he revealed that he was a huge Frank Sinatra fan. He also drew inspiration from the LA party scene, with a track on "Death of a Bachelor" titled "LA Devotee."

Brendon Urie Once Opened Up about What It Means to Be Pansexual and Married to a Woman

In June 2018, Brendon took fans by surprise when he revealed that he identified as pansexual. During his appearance on "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" on KIIS FM, co-host Kyle Sandilands admitted he had never heard of the term before.

Brendon clarified that he did not see himself entering a relationship with a person other than Sarah. But in the unlikely event that their marriage ended, a person's gender would not be a defining factor in who he chose to date next.

Brendon explained that his attraction to another person was solely based on connection and not gender. Brendon had been what he coined "Stage gay," which meant during the rush of concerts and live performances, he would become affectionate toward the people around him.

He recalled his guitar player getting upset whenever he would kiss him on the neck or mouth or when he would have a few beers and share kisses with his friends and "fool around."

Although Brendon had officially come out as pansexual during his Paper Magazine interview, he had also always known about his sexuality. He said, "It was never weird for me."

However, Brendon clarified that he did not see himself entering a relationship with a person other than Sarah. But in the unlikely event that their marriage ended, a person's gender would not be a defining factor in who he chose to date next. He said:

"If a person is good, I'm into that person - guy, girl, trans– it doesn't matter to me."
