Agnes Wilson has a demanding job. While most people quarantined in their homes during the Covid-19 pandemic, singer Gabi Wilson's mother worked full-time and was committed to saving lives.

Agnes' daughter discovered her passion for music at a young age. She began writing songs at the age of seven, and later, the songs became more personal, like her diary. Agnes' daughter said when she turned 10; she wrote a song titled "Curious," which was about how her parents were inquisitive and in her business.

Agnes Has Filipino Roots

Agnes Wilson's daughter was born to a black father and a Filipino mother. Growing up in San Francisco, Agnes' daughter was introduced to the public at ten after appearing on the "Today" show, covering Alicia Key's music.

For instance, when Agnes' daughter turned 10, she got to perform at the Apollo Theatre in New York, a place that had seen many celebrities' dreams come true. Some renowned singers who began their careers at the legendary venue include Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Stevie Wonder, among others.

Agnes' Husband Is Also a Musician

Agnes's husband, Kenny Wilson, is also a musician, which her daughter took after. He has played music for most of his life and introduced his daughter to music at a young age.

He has also been part of the Urban Bushmen band. In an interview, Agnes' husband said he followed in his grandmother's footsteps, who used to play piano in the church, and swore that if he ever gets kids, he will teach them to love music, just like his grandmother raised him.
