Anderson Silva's Wife and Kids: Inside the Fighter's Family Life with Dayane Silva
Dayane Silva is commonly known as Anderson Silva's wife; however, she has achieved a successful career as an Olympic athlete as well. Although he recently married, the UFC legend has been with his wife for over three decades, during which Anderson Silva's kids were born.
Although their father has bid farewell to the fighting ring after holding the longest winning and title defense streak in UFC history, Anderson Silva's sons have followed in his footsteps and are promising young boxers on the rise.
Anderon's sons are two of the five children he and Dayane have welcomed during their relationship that has stretched for over thirty years. And recently, Dayane took to social media to tease that the happily married couple might be grandparents.
Anderson Silva's Wife, Dayane Silva, Has Been by His Side for 30 Years
Born in 1977, Dayane has enjoyed success representing her country as an Olympic athlete with a discipline in Rhythmic Gymnastics. While it is unclear when her career in sports began, Dayane has since left gymnastics to pursue a career as a social media influencer.
With over ten thousand followers on Instagram at the time of writing, Dayane had over a thousand posts and documented her life with her husband and five children.
In 2016, she revealed she had not entirely left the world of sports as she practiced Jiu Jitsu. While it is unclear whether Dayane competes in the combat sport professionally, she often posted snaps of herself in gear with company.
In 2022, Dayane and Anderson celebrated Valentine's Day, and she confirmed that their relationship dates back thirty years to when they were teenagers.
However, they officially made it down the aisle in 2017. In July 2018, Dayane shared a black-and-white throwback picture from her wedding day and shared a glimpse of her sleeveless, lace wedding gown. A month after her big day, Dayane dedicated an Instagram post to her husband and wrote:
"...thank you for making me the happiest woman in the world; we are very blessed..."
Dayane and Anderson Raised 5 Talented Kids; 2 Follow in His Footsteps
Dayane and Anderson share five children, daughters Kaory and Kauana and sons Kalyl, Gabriel, and Joao. Kaory had over fourteen thousand followers on Instagram at the time of publication; however, unlike her mother, she rarely posted.
According to her bio, she inherited the Silva family athletic gene as a gym-lover. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with her sister, who had over five thousand followers on Instagram at the time of writing.
In early January, Kauana shared pictures of her family who called in the new year in the snow by Big Bear Lake in California. She shared photos of the family of seven clad in winter wear and captioned the post, "Happy New Year."
Like numerous athletes, such as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kobe Bryant, Kalyl Silva followed in his father's footsteps and made a name for himself in amateur kickboxing.
He defeated his opponent during his debut match in August 2022, and in December, Kalyl made his professional boxing debut in Brazil and won following a fourth-round knockout. He said:
"I'm training boxing, I'm training kickboxing. But my focus now is to continue in kickboxing and get some fights here, and then we'll see what the plans are for the future. Right now, I'm focused on amateur kickboxing."
He took to Instagram to celebrate his win and had amassed over three hundred thousand followers at the time of writing. While he enjoyed a little downtime here and there, Kalyl showcased his dedication to his craft by sharing videos of himself putting in the work in the gym.
His brother, Gabriel, is also a professional boxer and shared that he is a three-time kickboxing champion in his Instagram bio. Like his sisters, Gabriel relocated to Los Angeles and had over one hundred posts at the time of writing.
He regularly gave fans a glimpse of his life as a professional athlete, including weigh-ins and intense gym practice sessions. In 2018, Gabriel proved the Silva siblings were a close-knit bunch when he honored Kaory on her birthday and wrote:
"We quarrel, we have different opinions on the same issues, we do not see each other for days, but even though you still have the most genuine soul I know. I will always treasure the childhood we spent together."
Joao only had nine posts on Instagram and over two thousand followers at the time of publication. Unlike his brothers, he did not describe himself as a professional athlete in his bio; however, Joao did post pictures of himself staying fit in the gym.
The Silva Family Might Have Welcomed a New Little Member
On January 2, Dayane shared a picture of herself in the snow holding an adorable baby in her arms. She smiled into the camera in the image and captioned the post, "Amor da vovó," which translates to "Grandma's love."
In December 2022, Dayane posted another picture of the whole Silva family dressed in matching pajamas as they posed before a Christmas tree. As Anderson stood in the back with his three sons, he held the newborn in his arms.
It is unclear whether the newborn is Dayane and Anderson's grandchild; however, the couple does have two additions to their family—their beloved pets.
Dayane and Anderson's fury animals, Júpiter and Taya, a Shepherd and a Shiba Inu mix, have their own Instagram account, which has accumulated over three hundred followers.
On January 3, Dayane and Anderson posed with their pet during their family holiday in the snow, as well as cute snaps of the animals with Dayane from their Christmas celebration.
