Pitt met someone new, which might explain this bold move.
Hollywood icon Brad Pitt has recently revealed he is looking to sell his Los Angeles home. The "Fight Club" star listed his Los Feliz house for a staggering amount after owning it for years and raising his six children on the sizeable property.
The home served as the perfect place for Pitt and his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, to raise their children together. They raised all their children on the expansive estate until the famous couple separated in 2016.
Pitt reportedly bought the house from Cassandra Peterson in 1994. At the time, the actor paid a hefty $1.7 million for the home, although he has expanded the property over the years. It now features a swimming pool, tennis court, and skating rink.
Many fans suggested that Pitt is selling the house because he needs money.

The 1.9-acre property was quietly listed for the new, even heftier price of $40 million. Pitt justified his sale of the house by saying he is "looking for something smaller" in Los Angeles. The property now consists of multiple other lots, all amalgamated into one.
How Did Fans React?
News of the listing sparked wild speculation and discussion on the internet. Fans didn't see why Pitt would be letting the house go after owning it for so long and raising all his children there. Needless to say, they didn't take his statement at face value.
Another source confirmed that Pitt and de Ramon have started dating but noted that they weren't exclusive yet.

Many fans suggested that Pitt is selling the house because he needs money. Following Pitt's long and expensive divorce from Jolie, it's understandable that fans believe the actor is in a pinch. One Facebook user commented, "Child support is real."
Many other users echoed this sentiment, with one remarking, "Must be looking a bit short on money." Other users reacted to these comments with likes and laughing emojis, expressing their support for the presumption.
Other users chimed in, half-heartedly suggesting solutions to Pitt's assumed money troubles, mainly indicating he should have made smarter financial moves. One user said, "He needs the money to pay for his six kids for child support."
However, not everyone was quick to assume the actor had financial troubles. Many believed he wanted to get rid of the house because it held so many memories. A user commented, "He's detoxing, that's all. I'm happy for him, especially since he left that prison of a marriage lol."
Many users suggested the painful memories are too much for the actor to continue dealing with. Others maintained that Pitt's new girlfriend wouldn't want to spend time in the home where Pitt raised his children with his former spouse. A Twitter user speculated:
"NO. he is not. that compound is too big for him, plus no woman wants to live in the house that he lived with that witch."

Others suspected the same, saying, "He wants a smaller house with his new wife." Many indicated they support his decision, stating, "Finally." Another expressed, "I'm happy for him." One user said, "I wish him the best."
Who Is Brad Pitt's New Love?
Although Pitt hasn't sorted out all of the legal disputes between him and Jolie, the pair has legally been declared single since 2019. Following their legal separation, Pitt seems to have found himself someone new.
The "Bullet Train" star was recently seen spending time with a 32-year-old jewelry designer, Ines de Ramon. Sources indicate the couple has been "dating for a few months," and things seem to be going quite well for the pair.

De Ramon and Pitt were spotted spending their New Year at the Cabo San Lucas resort in Mexico, where they lounged next to the pool and sunned themselves for hours. Pitt even took de Ramon with him to his "Babylon" premiere, and a source noted:
"Ines said that Brad is very sweet. [Pitt] is clearly very into her, given he brought her to his premiere."
Guests at the afterparty for the film reported seeing Pitt and de Ramon repeatedly put their arms around each other, which sparked the initial rumors of their relationship. The pair was also seen at a Bono concert together in November 2022.
Like Pitt, de Ramon is a divorcée. She was previously married to the "Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley, but their relationship came to an end in 2022. Sources indicate that Pitt met de Ramon a little while after the divorce through a mutual friend of theirs.
Another source confirmed that Pitt and de Ramon have started dating but noted that they weren't exclusive yet. The source continued, saying Pitt has enjoyed his time with his new girlfriend just as much as she has. According to the source:
"Ines is cute, fun and energetic. She has a great personality. Brad enjoys spending time with her."
The pair were also seen together on Pitt's 59th birthday. Photos of the couple enjoying each other's company after celebrating the "Ad Astra" star's birthday were released, which showed Pitt and de Ramon smiling next to a car.
