"American Gods" and "Back to the Future" actor Crispin Glover is a very private man, leaving fans eager to know about his mysterious love life and lowkey relationships.
Handsome movie and TV actor Crispin Glover is in his late 50s and still single, or so it is believed. Fans wonder if Crispin Glover has a wife or a fiancée hid away somewhere because he has been spotted at red-carpet events with mysterious beauties.
The "Back to the Future" actor is so close-mouthed about his romances that some fans started to believe that Crispin Glover might be gay and keeping his sexual preferences private.

Born on April 20, 1964, Crispin Glover is the son of two actors, Bruce Glover and Betty Glover. Crispin started acting at 13 and was known for portraying eccentric and outlandish characters.
Glover is best known as Michael J. Fox's dad, George McFly, in "Back to the Future," and in films like "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" with Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Juliette Lewis; and "The People vs. Larry Flynt" with Woody Harrelson and Courtney Love.
Bruce Glover played a gay villain in the 1971 Bond film, "Diamonds Are Forever," an incredibly bold move for the era.
From killers, nerds, madmen, and semi-gods, Crispin has played them all, but one role still seems to elude him: playing the romantic lead -- onscreen and in his own life.

Crispin Glover Had a Devastating Experience with Young Love
Crispin revealed in an interview in 2003 that he started dating at age 18, after leaving his parents' house, and became involved with a girl from his acting class. She was his first lover, and her suicide a few years later shattered him.
Heartbreak early in his life made Crispin wary of commitment, and he determined that he didn't want children and refused to date anyone who did. He did decide which kind of woman he was looking for. He revealed:
"Like they could fit into a period film, so to speak, from the Fifties or the 1920s."

Crispin Glover Has Had Short Relationships but Has Never Been Married
Back in the 80s, Crispin dated actress Michelle Meyrink. Fans will remember Meyrink as Mallory's friend in the iconic "Family Ties" sitcom, which also starred Crispin's future co-star in "Back to the Future" Michael J. Fox.
In the 2000s, Crispin was in a relationship with former Penthouse Pet Alexa Lauren, who seemed to fit every one of the actor's prerequisites. She didn't want children, and her sultry beauty was that of a classic Fifties pinup, but the relationship didn't last.
From 2005 to 2006, Crispin was photographed at several events with actress Courtney Peldon, and the couple looked very affectionate. But it seems the relationship fizzled out despite rumors of an engagement.

Some Fans Ended Up Questioning His Sexuality
The actor has explained that he wouldn't want to have children because his work keeps him on the road so much, and a father should be there for his kids. Crispin's statement that he has never been close to marriage has set fans on Twitter wondering about his sexual orientation.
There may be a family history factor involved in supposing that Crispin is gay. His father, Bruce Glover, played a gay villain in the 1971 Bond film, "Diamonds Are Forever," an incredibly bold move for the era. Crispin, in turn, played a mute villain in "Charlie's Angels."
As for Crispin Glover's love interests, gay or straight, he seems to be sufficiently secure and at ease with himself not to feel he has to explain anything about his life or whom he loves.
