Since former MLB player Aaron Boone joined the New York Yankees as team manager in 2018, fans have been curious about his life. Aaron Boone's wife is Laura Cover, a former model and his partner since 2002.

The petite blond beauty is always present at Yankee games, just as it was throughout Boone's pro baseball career. Boone has attributed his motivation and strength to his wife's constant love and support.

Throughout his pro career, Aaron Boone played for the Cincinnati Reds, the New York Yankees, the Cleveland Indians, the Florida Marlins, the Washington Nationals, and the Houston Astros, and by his side, every step of the way, was Laura Cover.

Boone is a third-generation baseball player, the son of MLB four-time All-Star player Bob Boone, and the grandson of MLB player Ray Boone.

The couple married in November 2002, when Boone played for the Cincinnati Reds. After he retired as a player, Boone was an analyst on ESPN "Sunday Baseball" like fellow New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez before he was invited to lead the Yankees as its manager.

Aaron Boone's Wife, Laura, Supports His Career

Boone is the first to admit that Cover is his biggest fan and supporter. She has accompanied him through his days as a player, a broadcaster, and now as a team manager for the New York Yankees, and that meant moving the family around the country.

Cover packed and moved six times in the first two decades of their marriage. Then, Boone was invited to manage the Yankees. He said at the time of the announcement:

“This is a special, special day for me and my family. This feels like the chance of a lifetime for me.”

The Family Moved to a New Life Following Aaron's New Career Path

Boone's family had already moved from Cincinnati to New York, Cleveland, Miami, Washington, D.C., and Houston. They had settled in Scottsdale, Arizona, when the offer from the New York Yankees came through.

The new job meant another move, another change for the Boones and their four children. Since Boone had to hit the ground running, Cover organized the move and put their Scottsdale house on the market.

But no matter what happens in their lives, one thing the Yankees' manager never misses is date night with his beautiful wife. On her birthday, he posted a loving tribute to Cover, writing:

"Words can't express how blessed I feel to call you my wife and mom to our kiddos. I love you, girl!"

Laura Was into Sports at School and Went to Modeling Auditions

Laura Cover shares her husband's love of sports. In high school in her native Ohio, Cover was active in gymnastics and a keen soccer player. She became a model and ended up going to a Playboy audition. She revealed:

"I just walked into the studio, which I’m told is kind of unusual (...) I went to the Playboy studio by myself one day. They have an open call, and you have a Polaroid taken."

Cover's beauty impressed, and she became Playboy's Miss October in 1998, doing a series of photo spreads for the magazine and videos. She also did some modeling for Mystique Magazine.

The Couple Shares 2 Biological and 2 Adopted Children

Cover and Boone welcomed their first child, son Brandon, in 2005. Four years later, their family grew when their daughter Bella was born. In 2012, the couple opened their home to two adopted children, Jeanel and Sergot.

The couple often share glimpses of their family's life on social media. Boone posted a sweet snap of two of the boys wearing headphones at the Chicago Cub's Wrigley Field and commented:

"Just arrived at Wrigley and the boys have already taken over."

The doting dad often immortalizes moments of the children's lives, such as their last day of school, relaxing in life jackets on a boating trip, lying hand in hand on the grass, and visiting him at the Yankees' stadium.

Every Christmas, the Boones share a photo of themselves and their four children as a Christmas card. Every year, the kids get progressively bigger, and Boone and Cover look prouder and happier.

Boone is a third-generation baseball player, the son of MLB four-time All-Star player Bob Boone, and the grandson of MLB player Ray Boone. His brother is four-time Gold Glove winner Bret Boone. He paid tribute to his father and grandfather on Instagram with a throwback snap captioned:

"Happy Father’s Day to all those Pops out there, especially mine, who set an awesome example! Love you dad and Gramps!"

With baseball in the Boone family and their blood, it remains to be seen which of the three boys -- Brandon, Jeanel, or Sergot -- will follow in their dad's footsteps into the family business.
