Catherine Zeta-Jones’s Lookalike Daughter Carys Stuns in Closeup Selfie & Shares Life Update

Despite not posting often, Carys Zeta Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones' daughter, has amassed a large following on social media. The daughter of two actors received praise for her beauty and similarity to her famous mother in an Instagram post following her step back from social media.

After a bit of a lull in her social media presence, Carys shared stunning closeups of herself alongside what she's been up to recently.

In January 2023, she shared a series of pictures of her enjoying the company of friends, followed by a collection of photos on March 1, 2023. "Winter from out west," Carys captioned the post as she shared a closeup of her face slightly in the sunlight, followed by snaps of the sea and various fruits and vegetables.

While some social media users noticed her beauty, commenting, "So stunning," "beautiful," and "She's an icon, she's a legend, and she IS the moment," others noted how much she resembled her mother.

In 2018, Carys posed alongside her mom on the cover of Town & Country Magazine, and one person typed, "You're beautiful, just like your mother." A second shared, "You are very much like your mother," and a third commented, "You got moms looks."

After landing the role of Jenna Ortega's on-screen mother in the Netflix reboot of "Wednesday," Carys' mother took to Instagram and shared she'd had her own little Wednesday for years and shared a throwback video of a younger Carys.

Carys looked similair to Jenna's character with her long, dark locks and black makeup, and fans of her mother took to the comments section to comment on the humorous clip.

The comments "I have watched this 30 times" and "I mean we all have a little Wednesday in us" were followed by laughing emoticons and were joined by one person who shared, "Her face at the end, that's some serious sass, and I am here for it."

In the clip Carys appeared to be unamused during a school show; however, during an interview, her mother revealed that her daughter has since found a passion for theatre. She said:

"Their passion is about acting... My kids went to summer camp every year, to theatre camp."

Before updating fans about what she had been up to, Carys revealed that she had taken a break from social media after feeling the pressure of it needing to be a place of "perfect curation."

Despite being the daughter of two stars, Carys had not lived her life in front of the camera, as Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed she wanted Carys and her brother to have a normal childhood.
