Lynette McCarthy – Photographer and Jenny McCarthy's Older Sister
Jenny McCarthy is one of four sisters. She and her older sister Lynette McCarthy had an eventful childhood together. The pair were hostile roommates in their younger days but have remained close.
Jenny McCarthy has developed into one of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry. She rose to prominence as a nude model for Playboy in 1993 before developing a film and television acting career.
Lynette and Jenny were raised in a largely religious family. Now grown up, the older McCarthy has developed into an outstanding photographer and has even done photoshoots with celebrities. She lives on a farm with her family and pet.
Lynette McCarthy Has Six Uncles Who Were Priests and Four Aunts Who Were Nuns
Lynette comes from a very religious family with her aunts and uncles being heavily involved in church business. Four aunts were nuns while six uncles were priests. Her sister Jenny says that they were some of the best people she has known besides their professions going in seemingly opposite directions.
Lynette's father is described as a typical Irishman with physical features of a real life Mr. Magoo. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hanging out with his friends at the local bar. When he came back from work, he would open the door and shout "Where are my hugs?" And his four daughters would come running to him.
While dad was the quiet one in the family, Lynette's mom, not so much. She did most of the yelling in the house and gave out all the punishments. She was both the family cop and psychologist who demanded to know what was wrong with you and what was going on in her children's lives.

Lynette McCarthy Shared Her Room with Jenny — They Fought a Lot
Jenny and Lynnette were roommates while they were young. Their combination didn't always go well and witnessed many quarrels and fighting. The meticulous and sensitive Lynette was disgusted by her younger sister's lack of cleanliness.
Admittedly, Jenny McCarthy was not the smartest roommate. She would leave clothes piling up and food all over their room plus some leftovers under the bed which would go bad after a while. That would always bring the wrath from older sister Lynette who was not impressed by her sister's laziness.
On one occasion, Jenny got the embarrassment of her life when she took one of Lynette's underwear without asking and Lynnette only realized it after she had left for school at Mother McAuley. The livid older sister decided to voice and act out her displeasure in the school's hallway by pinning Jenny to the ground and ripping off the underwear.

However, they weren't always hostile to each other. The pair would sometimes have fun together. For example, on one occasion, they made a home film which they titled "The Revenge of the Pizza Cutter Killer." In the film, Lynette, who was both the killer and camera person, chased her sisters around holding a pizza cutter.
During their childhood, Lynette also involved herself in what Jenny thought was very interesting to say the least. She had one half of her head shaved bald while the other was dyed jet black, a look which made her seem like a goth. Jenny thought she looked like she was ready to sacrifice a chicken.
Lynette McCarthy Is a Known Photographer Now
Despite their shared interest in making movies while they were kids, the sisters grew into different professions. Jenny became a model and actress, making appearances in films such as "John Tucker Must Die" alongside Ashanti and Brittany Snow in 2006 and the 2003 "Scary Movie 3" starring "Black-ish" lead actor, Anthony Anderson.
Lynette, on the other hand, has also established a successful career as a photographer. She has been involved in photoshoots for advertisements with popular figures such as Millie Bobby Brown, Scott Conant and her sister. Additionally, she does wedding shoots.
It seems she lives on a farm with her pet pig named Mabel. She also has a sense of humor, sharing funny photos of her sister saying, "In an effort to capture my sis on our local news, I managed to take a stream of horrible photos that I immediately sent to her. You are welcome, Jen!"
Although not certain of her marital status, Lynette does have a partner and daughters. One of her daughters, Olivia Aquilina also has a passion for photography and works as a director of photography in the film industry.
