Catherine Zeta-Jones hasn't missed an opportunity to celebrate the love that wells in her heart for her mother, Patricia Jones. In another one of the actress's sweet tributes, Patricia appeared among a short thread of photos, once again revealing their uncanny resemblance.

In a recent Instagram update, Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated her mother's birthday with a touching tribute. She shared a string of pictures, the first depicting her and her mother, Patricia Jones, smiling for a photo. Catherine donned a sheer sky-blue top with leaf embroidery, while Patricia wore a black square-necklined top with red-and-white floral prints.

Although the pair looked lovely, the most striking part of the picture was their likeness, as one fan noted how "uncanny" it was. One user echoed the same sentiment, as another remarked that they could see where Catherine sourced her beauty.

Another fan gushed over Catherine's mother, writing, "Awhhh!! What a beautiful family you have!!! Your mother is gorgeous!! [two red heart emojis]." The second photo in Catherine's post was a close-up of a dolled-up Patricia. In the last picture, Patricia posed alongside her daughter and grandchildren, Carys Douglas and Dylan Douglas, during a celebration.

Patricia's maiden name was Patricia Fair before she tied the knot with candy factory owner David James Jones in 1966. In October 2020, alongside a throwback photo of newlywed Patricia and David, Catherine revealed to her Instagram followers that her parents had been married for 54 years.

After the two married, they welcomed the "Wednesday" star in Wales on September 25, 1969. Catherine, who started her own family with Michael Douglas, inherited her mother's Irish roots and her father's Welsh ancestry. Her parents named her after both her grandmothers; Catherine was her maternal grandmother, and Zeta was her paternal grandmother.

Patricia, whom Catherine affectionately refers to as her "Mam," currently resides in Britain. In 2017, Catherine shared a stunning selfie she'd taken with Patricia, wishing her "darling Mam" a happy Mother's Day.
