Lindsey Morgan's Future Husband Shaun Sipos Popped the Question in 2020
With the success of her recent roles in high-profile productions, Lindsey Morgan's fanbase has increased exponentially, thrusting her personal life further into the spotlight. Though she initially kept her relationship status to herself, things changed when she met the man who would soon be her life partner.
Lindsey Morgan's passion for the arts ignited at age seven after watching a musical with her mother. She began with commercials and print ads before focusing full-time on acting from the early 2010s onwards. Morgan has since been hailed for her character portrayals on the shows "General Hospital," "The 100," and most recently, "Walker."
With an Emmy nomination under her name, Morgan's career has a promising trajectory; however, that's not the only part of her life she's been celebrating. Only a few years ago, she found love and a life partner in actor Shaun Sipos. Since going public with their relationship, the two have unapologetically flaunted their romance.
Lindsey Has Been Engaged since 2020
Morgan and Sipos went Instagram official with their relationship in March 2019, when Sipos dedicated an appreciation post to his beau. The actor reflected on the affection he felt for Morgan, expressing that the word "Love" wasn't quite enough to encompass it, as he wrote:
"We use the word 'Love' to try to express even the tip of the Iceberg of living poetry that bursts within us about someone special [...]."
They made their red-carpet debut as a couple that June in Monte Carlo when they attended the 59th Monte Carlo TV Festival: TV Series Party. Although the lovers continue to gush about each other online, they've kept the innermost details of their romance under wraps.
Still, they couldn't help but celebrate one significant milestone with their fans; on December 29, 2020, they revealed they were engaged! In a thread of photos depicting Morgan and Sipos posing in front of their Christmas tree, a silver band embedded with a large diamond shone on Morgan's hand. Captioning the announcement, she hinted:
"2020 coming in with that twist ending [...]."
The Couple Shared a Lot of Romantic Moments Together
Morgan often keeps her tributes to Sipos short, sweet, and sometimes hilarious. She once shared a selfie her fiancé took of them both while she was in mid-yawn and wrote, "He always captures me at my best [black heart emoji]." On last year's Valentine's day, she posted a photo of her and Sipos holding each other's gazes in a casual embrace.
As a tribute, Morgan declared she was "forever obsessed" with her beau. In October 2022, she joked that Sipos wore better lipstick than her, citing a Getty image of the two posing at the Monte Carlo festival. Earlier this year, on behalf of herself and Sipos, she wished her followers a "Happy New Years from Mom & Dad."
On the other hand, Sipos often pens lengthy declarations of love for his wife-to-be, save for this year's sweet and humorous birthday tribute, calling her "the most photogenic" woman, alongside a picture of Morgan lying in bed with a cosmetic facemask, magazine in hand.
On her birthday last year, Sipos posted a thread of clips, screenshots, and photos of the moments he shared with Morgan. The CW star said he had many more but kept those just for the two of them. As he expressed how grateful he felt for waking up every day next to Morgan, he gushed:
"Sweetheart, you're the most magical, and and beautiful woman I've ever met— I feel like I've known you forever and like its the first time I saw you, all at once. I love you!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! [four black heart emojis] Xoxo (sic)."
Lindsey's Fiancé Is Also Her Colleague
The two are fellow CW alums, as they've starred in many of the network's shows. Sipos, a Canadian native of Croatian descent whose onscreen career began in 2001, is best known for his appearances in "The Vampire Diaries," starring alongside Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev, "Melrose Place" with Katie Cassidy, and "Krypton."
