Lukas Gage Shows a Puppy He Calls His 'New Son' and Their 'Resemblance Is Uncanny'

Lukas Gage is an animal lover who just recently acquired another furry friend. Over the years, the actor has shared pictures of several dogs with interesting names. The "You" actor shared the new puppy's induction into his family a few hours ago.

Lukas Gage shared a series of selfies with a new puppy he had just adopted. The actor shared five pictures of himself sharing a good time with his new furry friend. The actor revealed that his new dog's name is Dash.

Dash is a white-and-beige-coated husky with dreamy green eyes, much like his famous owner. Dash looked excited to be with his new human dad on a bright Spring day.

Fans felt the actor and his new pet had a very similar appearance. "You guys look exactly alike," actor Jesse Rath commented. Another actor, Bebe Wood, wrote, "The resemblance is uncanny." The actor's "Supergirl" collaborator Tedra Rogers also commented, "You guys are clones can't tell who's who."

The actor who stars as Adam in the TV series "You" with Tati Gabrielle and Domino Kirke's spouse, Penn Badgley, has more than one dog. He shared a post on Mother's Day 2020 with a couple of dogs and his mother. The actor wrote in his caption, "Happy Mother's Day to my best friend ❤️ I love you so much."

Previously in February 2018, Gage shared another selfie with a female dog. He wrote a sweet welcome into the family for his white-coated pet. Later in the year, in July, Gage shared another photo of his female pup on what seemed like a pool day with a caption celebrating his pet fatherhood.

The actor has shared several pictures of other dogs, making it unclear whether he owns them all. If we look back at his posts from 2011, we see Gage celebrating his dog, which he called McGroob, with an Instagram post. The following year he shared a picture of another dog who he revealed he was missing in the caption.

On New Year's Day 2015, the actor shared a photo enjoying a snow day in the middle of winter. In March of that year, Gage posted another picture of a white-coated pup. The actor posed to be taking a bite out of the little dog.

Lukas has worked hard as an actor, impressing as he progresses and landing better roles over time. Some of the shows he has starred in include: "Euphoria" with Angus Cloud and Hunter Schafer; "The White Lotus" with actress Jennifer Coolidge, and "American Vandal."

The actor once commented on the social media jokes about him being suitable for portraying Kristin VanOrman, the lawyer who became famous for giving Gwyneth Paltrow hell in court. He said he is equipped to play the role and would love to bring the character to life.
