British singer and songwriter Sir Rod Stewart showed his fans what getting his new ink was like. The musician was on tour in Auckland when he met with a tattoo artist, Ray Waller, to get his essential piece.

In the post, we see the musician getting the emblem of the Celtic Football Club on his left arm. He looks proud to be making his favorite team live on his sleeve permanently.

Stewart wrote, "Getting a 'Glasgow Celtic' tattoo in Auckland to celebrate my beloved team 'You're in My Heart' @celticfc@wallerray_tattoo." The musician looked relaxed in his white Hugo Boss tank top and gold Celtic chain.

The new tattoo coincides with Stewart wrapping up the Australian phase of his world tour. One of his fans commented on the seismic task in the hands of tattoo artists and said: "Imagine the pressure on this tattoo artist just knowing your inking up one of the best musicians to walk this earth?"

Following the inking of his Celtic FC logo, the rock musician and his wife Penny Lancaster stayed up to watch Celtic win against their arch-rivals Rangers FC 3-2 on matchday 31 of 33. The football club is the most successful in Glasgow—the Home city of Brendan McAvoy's father, James McAvoy, and Garance Doré's man, Graham McTavish.

This past Sunday, the musician, who is globally revered and respected, performed for a packed crowd at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The rockstar was dressed to impress with pinstripe pants, a zebra print blazer jacket, a golden waistcoat, and a white shirt.

The musician finished off his look with the gold Celtic chain seen in his tattoo reveal post and a glitzy bracelet. Stewart is scheduled to continue his touring in England. His locations include Plymouth, Northampton, Durham, Bristol, Hull, and Edinburgh.

The musician has a big family and has welcomed eight children. Still, he has had the heart to open his arms to a large family of Ukrainian refugees, helping with the cost of their housing.
