"Quintuplets" was followed by guest roles in series like "House," "CSI: Miami," and "Cold Case," before he was cast in the ABC TV series "Greek."

Jake McDorman Found His Girlfriend among His Co-stars
In 2014, rumors started flying that actor Jake McDorman and his on-screen love interest in "Manhattan Love Story," Analeigh Tipton, were romancing after the cameras stopped rolling.
Since the end of his relationship with Tipton, McDorman has yet to appear publicly with another woman.
Tipton, a model known for her role in the cult comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love" with Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, and Emma Stone, had previously been engaged to longtime boyfriend Aaron McManus.
McDorman, who confessed he had never dated a co-star, explained how their relationship began through their work. He revealed:
"When you're working on a love story with a co-star, it's obviously important to get to know each other (...) before pretending to be falling for one another. I really don't think it was until a couple episodes in that things changed, and we were officially dating."
The actors did not reveal how or when the relationship between Tipton and McDorman ended. In 2021, Tipton announced on Instagram that they are queer and non-binary. They wrote:
"Hi. My name is Lio. My pronouns are they/them. I am proud to announce I am queer, and I identify as non-binary. I hope to give as much love and support back to those who continue to show love and support for the Pride community at large."
Tipton made the announcement with the support of their then-fiancé Chaz Salembier, whom they thanked for his unconditional love and acceptance.
Tipton and Salembier married in October 2022 in an intimate ceremony attended by 35 of their closest family and friends at the actor's family's lake home in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Tipton shared:
"The advantage of such a low number was that my partner, Chaz, and I were able to celebrate in such a wonderfully intimate way and we were truly able to appreciate everyone sharing such an important weekend with us."
The actor wore a Reformation gown from Poshmark, their mother's legacy veil, sneakers, and carried a sweet bouquet of fern and sunflowers.

Jake McDorman Is Grateful for the People in His Life
McDorman revealed that the pandemic and the subsequent confinement helped him put his life and career into perspective and to appreciate his loved ones. He said:
"I'm grateful to be able to work. I'm even more grateful for the people I love. This was a hard year for everyone. It's still hard. A lot of change, equal parts good and bad. We need each other. I'm very grateful for the people in my life."
Since the end of his relationship with Tipton, McDorman has yet to appear publicly with another woman. He has attended red-carpet events alone, as he did for the 2022 "Jerry & Marge Go Large" premiere.
The actor posed with his co-stars Betty Gilpin and Andy McQueen at the 2023 world premiere of Warner's sci-fi series "Mrs. Davis" with no plus-one in sight.
Jake McDorman Uses Personal Experience in His Work
Even though he has never been married, McDorman has played married men and describes himself as a "cynical romantic" but admits that his favorite way to communicate is through dance.
The actor has admitted that he digs into his own experiences and emotions to create the complex characters he has portrayed throughout his career.
