Jennifer Coolidge's surprise cameo turned out to actually be a surprise for her when friend and colleague Jane Lynch handed her the Social Impact award. "You look incredible, Ms. Coolidge, wow," wrote a fan.

"Now this is Barbie," a fan wrote in response to Coolidge's photo taken before the awards in her navy Jean Paul Gaultier dress, camped up with a vintage crystal headpiece look, and an assistant brushing her hair. "Living your best life! Looking stunning ♥," another tweeted.

The "White Lotus" antihero shared photographs with host Margaret Cho (who "always kill[s] it"), Frankie Grande, and Sarah Michelle Gellar on Instagram.

GLAAD shared a clip of her monologue at the show last month, assuring that "these gays were not trying to kill her" (a reference to her HBO show). Coolidge, whose rising star since the pandemic has been dubbed the 'Jenaissance,' thanked her queer fans for always being there for her.

Fans tweeted their appreciation for her "open support" and being an "outspoken ally." "You've been an ally ever since you befriended Elle Woods! Let's go ELLE-GBTQ!" one person wrote.

A Pal's "Big Risk" Helped Ignite the 'Jenaissance'

The New Orleans-based actress attributes Ariana Grande's pop-culture heavy music video for "Thank U, Next" and Emerald Fennell casting her in a dramatic part in "Promising Young Woman" for the rise of her profile.

Her exercise regime is limited to her steep staircase in New Orleans.

However, it was "The Watcher" and her friend Mike White taking a "big risk" on her in "White Lotus," which came out in close succession that sparked the 'Jenaissance.' She told Rolling Stone that "Ariana Grande's generation" seems to click better with her.

GLAAD summed up the state of the entertainment world well when they wrote, "It wouldn't be an award show in 2023 without the incredibly iconic [Jennifer Coolidge]."

Yet the red-carpet queen likes nothing better than lying in her bed at home with her dog. Coolidge's favorite pastime is watching movies in bed if she can get the television to work.

Jennifer Coolidge does not invite activities into her life that involves "any sort of athleticism." Her exercise regime is limited to her steep staircase in New Orleans that she has scaled "100 times a day."
