Before Molly June’s Birth, Amanda Pitt Was Under Stress & Later Struggled to Find a Name for Her

At the time that Amanda went into labor, David was in the UK, and all flights to the US were canceled because of a volcanic eruption, which meant he might not be there for his new baby's birth.

The actress was nervous and stressed, but David managed to catch a flight home from Rome and was there to welcome their daughter. Amanda's representative announced:

“Mother and daughter are doing great.”

But by the time Amanda was ready to leave the hospital, the baby still didn't have a name. The actress wrote down two options on pieces of paper and asked David to decide. He picked Maya June, but they ended up agreeing on Molly June.
