Jennifer Lopez’s Kids ‘Love’ & ‘Appreciate’ Ben Affleck as a ‘Fantastic’ Father Figure

Jennifer Lopez opened up about Ben Affleck's relationship with her twin children, Emme and Max. Following their wedding, the actor lived with the singer and her kids while remodeling their home.

It's a happy blended family in the Affleck-Lopez household. The "Jenny from the Block" singer recently appeared on "TODAY" with Hoda Kotb. She shared intimate details about her husband as a father figure to her 15-year-old twins, Emme and Max.

Kotb pointed out the extraordinary way Lopez's children looked at the actor, and Lopez concurred. The singer shared how her kids adored the "Batman" star, who she called a "wonderful" father figure.

She said, "He's fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what (being a stepfather) is and what that means, and they love him. They appreciate him, and so do I."

The couple spent time with their respective stepkids on several occasions. In early April, the "Gone Girl" star went out and about with Jennifer Lopez's daughter, Emme.

Sporting a black bomber jacket, black hoodie, and a white shirt underneath, he made animated gestures. He walked alongside Emme, who opted for an oversized hoodie. Both laughed while carrying brown paper bags.

Ben Affleck also brought along his daughter, Seraphina, with Emme as the trio went on a Halloween shopping escapade last year. All wore casual outfits walking in and out of various stores.

Shortly after tying the knot in Vegas, the couple flew to New York. Lopez reportedly took his kids to a Broadway play without him.

The "Air" director later reportedly moved in with the "Marry Me" star and helped remodel her home. "They are comfortable there, and so are the kids," a source revealed. The location proved ideal as Jennifer Garner, the mother of his three children, reportedly lives twenty minutes away.

The couple secretly married in Vegas in July last year. A witness revealed that the pair were emotional, saying their vows while their kids were behind them.

A month after they eloped, Affleck and Jennifer Lopez held a more extravagant second wedding at his estate in Georgia, wherein all guests wore white. Notable attendees included Matt Damon and his wife, director Kevin Smith, and actor Jason Mewes.
