Romany Malco's Wife: More about the Actor's Marriage to Taryn Dakha and New Mystery Partner
Taryn Dakha was Romany Malco's wife for nearly ten years before the couple went their separate ways. Since then, the actor has found love again. However, the identity of Romany Malco's partner— and the mother of his first biological child, who he welcomed at 52— has been kept under wraps.
The first of his West Indian family to be born on American soil, Malco is commonly known for his acting talent but actually began his career as a rapper in the 1990s. He has since starred in classics such as "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Think Like a Man."
In the latter, Malco plays a womanizing bachelor unprepared to settle down. However, off-camera, Malco's love life could not be more different. Following a lengthy first marriage, Malco revealed he has been in his stepsons' lives for nearly a decade. And in 2021, the actor and his "life partner" welcomed their first child together.

Romany Malco Was Once Married to Taryn Dakha
In 2008, Malco and Jessica Alba were filming "The Love Guru" when he found love on set with the actress's body double— Dakha. Born on July 17, 1980, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Dakha's credits in the film industry include performing stunts in "Fantastic Four" in 2005 and "The Eye" in 2008.
She was also a part of the additional crew in "Good Luck Chuck" in 2007 before meeting and marrying Malco the following year. A very discreet couple, little is known about Malco and Dakha's relationship other than they parted ways in 2016, after eight years of marriage.

Romany Malco Welcomed His First Biological Child at 52
In 2021, as the rest of the world grappled with the pandemic, Malco found a silver lining in the situation, as it was during this time that he welcomed his son, Brave. The former member of the College Boyz took to social media to announce his son's birth and revealed that he was initially hesitant to share the news of his son's arrival.
"But then I figured there are some people who are genuinely interested in my take on the experience of becoming a biological father," Malco shared, who already experienced a glimpse of fatherhood through his two stepsons. The actor added:
"Brave is my first biological child. I'm 52 years old, and I've never been responsible for anything quite as delicate and precious."
Brave was born on January 22, 2021, at 6:52 a.m. After watching his son's birth, Malco revealed that his love for his "life partner" reached new heights, and his appreciation for his mother increased as well.
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Malco opened up about how he and his partner chose their son's name and said, "The way we came up with his name was like, we were trying to think of the conversation that we wanted to have with our child over and over and have it take on new meaning."
Since welcoming Brave, Malco has often shared pictures of him on his social media. In June 2022, Malco posted a snap of Brave in honor of Father's Day and documented their trip to Puerto Rico in May 2022. Malco learned many life lessons since becoming a dad and shared:
"Fatherhood is teaching me to be more self-accountable, more honest, and far more loving than I ever thought possible."
Romany Malco Keeps the Identity of His Partner a Secret
While Malco is yet to reveal the identity of his partner— who he humorously mentioned prefers to be called his "Queen," but he enjoys teasing her and calling her his "baby mamma"— he did share that he has been in her children's lives for nearly ten years.
In 2021, Malco wrote that he had been a step-father for almost seven years after coming into his stepsons' lives when they were 5 and 11. And while his partner welcomed them during her previous relationship, the actor admitted that his stepsons have taught him "unconditional love, and they've rallied for Brave in unexpected ways."
