Of Scottish origin, Briggs has grown up around the world but came to her own as an artist while living in Los Angeles. What started as a night of singing at a local bar led to her recording her first single and making a name for herself as a musician after releasing two EPs.

The success of her early works brought Briggs widespread exposure, and before she knew it, she was opening shows for Coldplay. Briggs has since garnered a following of hundreds of thousands of fans and entered a new chapter in life after marrying and welcoming a child with a fellow artist.

Who Is Bishop Briggs' Husband?

Jacobs is one-third of the chart-topping Los Angeles-based band Sir Sly. Since releasing music that reminds fans of an amalgamation of famous bands, such as Chris Martin's Coldplay and Adam Levin's Maroon 5, Jacobs and his band have been on the rise.

Jacobs has also created music independently and was the creative force behind the online album "Un-couth." However, he went by the alias, My Real Name, for that project. After releasing the online album, Jacobs turned to Instagram— where he had over 9,000 followers at the time of writing— and revealed that the tracks had been on his hard drive for years.

"For some reason, today I decided they belong on the internet for people to listen to," he shared. During an interview in 2021, Jacobs revealed that he drew inspiration for his music and lyrics from Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. After reading a dozen of the writer's books, Jacobs said:

"The kind of dream-like format of his storytelling really, I feel like, gave me permission to try to be a little bit more bizarre in my lyric writing... a little less specific and a little bit more like I was painting with words."

Bishop Briggs' and Landon Jacobs' Engagement Was Unusual

During an appearance on "Tuna on Toast with Stryker" in 2021, Briggs revealed that she and Jacobs had spoken about getting engaged for years. However, after remembering an experience in Ireland where she witnessed women proposing to their partners years ago, Briggs recalled thinking, "I'm going to do this!"

And so, the singer devised the master plan of surprising Jacobs with a ring and a speech. Although her plan did not include taking the band member on a grand trip to Ireland, the moment was still "special." Briggs said:

"We both cried. It was really special."

Although Briggs and Jacobs do not often share about their relationship, the singer gave fans a glimpse of her sleeveless, Dior wedding dress that she paired with a lace veil in March 2022. "Can you keep a secret?" Briggs captioned the post. For a sentimental touch, all the pictures taken on Briggs and Jacobs' wedding day had rainbow bubbles, her sister's favorite color.

On August 5 and 6, 2022, the couple posted a picture of their newborn's little toes sticking out of a blanket, and Briggs shared, "Worth the wait." Since becoming first-time parents, Jacobs and his wife's bundle of joy has regularly appeared on their social media.

In November 2022, Briggs shared a video of Jacobs and their baby cuddling in bed, and in December 2022, Jacobs shared a picture featuring his kid's adorable little foot as they joined their dad in the studio.
