Does Francia Raisa Have a Boyfriend? The Actress Was Linked to Several Famous Men in the Past
Francia Raisa does not have a husband but has been rumored to be romantically linked to several famous men, including one boyfriend she was allegedly engaged to.
Raisa is a Mexican and Honduran actress who started acting in 2005 at age seventeen. Following her Hollywood debut, she has become a force to be reckoned with.
She strives to make a change within the LatinX community by raising awareness for organizations primarily fighting sex trafficking, including familial separation at the border.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Raisa is best known for her roles in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," "How I Met Your Father," and "Grown-ish."
The brunette is also known for being fellow actress Selena Gomez's best friend since they were teenagers. The dynamic duo even lived together at some point in their lives.
Unfortunately, while living together, Gomez's battle with Lupus took a turn for the worse. After taking tests, she came home one day devastated, and Raisa shared she let her be without asking any questions.

However, Gomez broke the silence and asked Raisa how she was doing as she reached for a bottle of water from the refrigerator. Frustrated by her physical limitations, Gomez struggled to open the bottle and threw it to the floor in a moment of overwhelming emotion.
Devastated, she collapsed, unable to hold back her tears. Raisa, who is also an advocate for women health and wellness, recalled during a 2018 interview:
"I was like, 'What is wrong with you?' She said, 'I need a new kidney. I don't know what I'm going to do, the waitlist is seven to 10 years.'"

Upon hearing that, Raisa told Gomez she would "get tested." Thankfully for Gomez, Raisa was a match, and she underwent the procedure in September 2017 to give her a kidney transplant.
However, shortly after the surgery, Gomez experienced complications as she "broke an artery" and had to go for an emergency operation. Raisa said this about Gomez's dire health condition:
"She could have died."
Gomez thanked her beloved friend on social media while recovering from the surgery as she posted a photo of them on hospital beds and said she was "incredibly blessed." Meanwhile, Raisa also took to her Instagram and shared the same picture, writing:
"I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life but changed mine in the process."
Besides her long friendship with the Disney star, which started in 2008, Raisa's love life has also been of interest as she has been reported to have dated several well-known public figures.
Francia Raisa Was Linked to Several Famous Men in the past & Was Even Reportedly Engaged
Media reports have suggested Francia Raisa was previously engaged to "The Game" actor Hosea Chanchez in 2013. However, she has since denied ever being engaged during an April 2020 interview:
"I've been dating my whole life. I've never been married, engaged, or anything. I definitely learned what I need versus what people want from me as a partner. One of the three things that I always say is, 'pursue, provide, protect.' Those are things that I want in a partner, but I also want to be able to provide that to a partner."

Francia Raisa's Most Recent Boyfriend Was Cinematographer Christian Adkins
In the late 2010s, Raisa entered into a relationship with cinematographer Christian Adkins, known for his work on the TV show "Black-ish." Their relationship became public when they went Instagram official in December 2017.
She posted a cozy picture of the couple as Adkins kissed her on the cheek, and she smiled. Raisa expressed warm wishes for her followers for the holiday season in the post.
At that point, the two, who were in Indianapolis then, had reportedly been seeing each other for a few months and met through actress Yara Shahidi. Per his social media post, Adkins considers Indianapolis "home." Moreover, he is an avid traveler who has been to India and Puerto Rico.
According to his website, he is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. However, his Instagram bio shows he is based in Los Angeles and has over nine thousand followers at the time of this publication.

In April 2019, Adkins was pictured walking and holding hands with his girlfriend, Raisa, at the "Little" movie premiere starring Marsai Martin, Regina Hall, and Issa Rae.
Despite appearing lovey-dovey in public, Raisa has also talked about the couple fighting once and revealed that Adkins put chewed gum on her coffee table, which she did not appreciate.
The couple had been drinking that evening before they went to her place, and he decided to sleep on the couch. She texted him a photo of the gum, asking if he was the one who did it, and he denied it despite being the only person who often went to her place.
The same morning, Raisa woke up to a "rolled-up piece of gum on the nightstand." When she asked Adkins about it, he denied it again. But she knew that it was him and scolded him.
The Latina native and Adkins allegedly dated for two years before splitting in 2019. In early 2020, she was already newly single and even considered joining a dating app called Raya, adding she was ready for a new relationship.
Francia Raisa Is Single, but She Has Never Been Happier
Francia Raisa is now in her mid-30s, and she said on E! News "Daily Pop" in August 2022, "I am just happy. My friends noticed that I am the happiest I have ever been."
The movie star stated she was grateful it did not take someone else to get to this place where she feels content. She feels anew and has gained more confidence.
During a February 2023 interview, Raisa spoke candidly about dating in her thirties and admitted it is "so hard." The people she meets most of the time either just came out of a relationship or are newly divorced and have children—which is not a dealbreaker for her—but knowing she would come second in their priorities bothers her.
When she was 32, she appeared on "The Talk" and discussed her decision to refrain from rushing into a relationship or marriage and having kids because of her maternal clock.
She started freezing her eggs in 2021 and admitted it was an "emotional" process. Taking the next steps in her family planning journey, Raisa underwent a two-week procedure to freeze 28 eggs.
"I don't want to settle. I want to wait for the right person. I want to be friends with someone first and really know you because I don’t want to have to worry about that again ever. Now I’m not in a rush to get into a relationship because my 'biological clock is ticking,'" she expressed.
