Blake Shelton Slammed for Looking 70 & ‘Homeless’ at 46 at Stepson’s Football Game
Blake Shelton's recent scruffy look following his exit from "The Voice" did not go unnoticed. The singer, once dubbed the "Sexiest Man Alive," admitted that he could now feel the signs of aging in his 40s.
Blake Shelton, 46, looked relaxed while cheering at his stepson Apollo's football game in Los Angeles this past weekend.
The country star and Ada, Oklahoma native, was seen in blue jeans paired with a brown and green camouflage shirt, left untucked and casually unbuttoned at the top. He completed the look with brown shoes, a black and white baseball cap that tamed his short hair, and a ruggedly scruffy beard and mustache.
His wife, the ever-stylish Gwen Stefani sported cut-off denim shorts over black leggings, accentuated by white knee-high boots over white tube socks.
Shelton's scruffy look drew attention from some fans, however, who felt that he appeared older than his actual age.
Among the comments online, one user declared, "He is 46 looking 70," while another added, "Thought that was her dad."

A third concurred, "What happened to Blake? 😮 looks kinda bad." There was even a cheeky remark about Stefani sitting on "this homeless Santa's lap."
Back in 2017, People Magazine crowned Shelton the "Sexiest Man Alive." Reflecting on that time, Shelton admitted he initially felt surprised, jesting, "Y'all must be running out of people."
He credited Stefani for persuading him to accept the title, recounting how she told him to "live in the moment."

Now in his 40s, Shelton openly acknowledged the signs of aging, even sharing a few good-natured jibes with his younger wife over ailments like gout, a troublesome back, and creaky knees.
Nevertheless, age is just a number for the heartthrob, especially when it comes to his role as a father figure to Stefani's children from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

"Blake treats Gwen's kids like they're his own. They just glow when they're together," a source said.
Fellow "The Voice" coach and friend Kelly Clarkson echoed the sentiment, saying Shelton "has this gravitational pull" around kids. "He's like this tree that they all climb on," she shared.
While Shelton's recent look may have stirred a buzz, his unwavering commitment to his family and down-to-earth charm continue to endear him to fans worldwide.
