Sarah Snook Shares a Glimpse of Her Newborn Baby with Husband Dave Lawson

Sarah Snook and her husband, Dave Lawson, kept the birth of their new baby under wraps until she surprised fans with a photo of their tot. The actress got a taste of motherhood as a stepmom before welcoming her first child.

Sarah Snook became a first-time mom and welcomed her first child with her husband, Dave Lawson, following the end of her hit series "Succession."

The news was a surprise as Snook initially shared her sentiments regarding the show's finale in a heartfelt Instagram post.

"It's hard to express what this show has meant to me. The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with…it breaks my heart that it is all over," she said.

In her poignant message, she went on to share how she would sorely miss the camaraderie, experiences, and colleagues associated with the show now that it has reached its end after four seasons.

An accompanying image captured Snook and a still of Matthew Macfadyen on the TV screen. However, a glimpse of a baby in the image signaled she already gave birth.

With no formal birth announcement being made, the new addition's gender and name is yet to be unveiled as Snook chose to keep it under wraps.

The actress debuted her baby bump back in March at the premiere of "Succession"s' final season. She opened up about filming the series during her pregnancy though it hadn't been noticeable at the time.

Before the arrival of her first baby, the star revealed she is a stepmom to her husband's son from a previous relationship. While information about the boy is scarce, the couple previously had "difficult conversations" about how they would navigate parenthood together.

Snook and Lawson transitioned from a six-year friendship to a romantic bond amid the pandemic. The actress made the leap and proposed, leading to their intimate 2021 wedding in her backyard.

"It's been a ride. There's so much heartache and sadness in the world, but on a micro personal level, I've been very fortunate. There's a really lovely grace in that without the pandemic, we might not have ended up together so quickly," she reflected.

Discussing her joy in marrying her best friend, Snook confessed they were both still in awe of their marital bliss.

The couple purchased a home in Brooklyn but continue to spend most of their time in their house on the outskirts of Melbourne.
