Ben Foster's Wife: Inside the Actor's Marriage to Laura Prepon and past Engagement
Ben Foster, the acclaimed actor known for his versatile performances, is married to fellow actress Laura Prepon. The couple knew each other as teenagers but started dating years later. However, before his marriage, the actor was engaged to someone else.
Ben Foster is an actor, producer, and director who has received several nominations for his work, including an Emmy and Critics Choice Awards nomination for "The Survivor."
As an actor, his career began in 1996 in the video "Kounterfeit," and he has since been known for his roles as a scene-stealing supporting actor in "3:10 to Yuma," and "Hell or High Water." He also took the lead in the Oscar-nominated "The Messenger." Beyond his on-screen success, his personal life has also garnered attention, particularly his relationship history and marriage.

Ben Foster Had a Pretty Impressive Dating History and Was Previously Engaged to Robin Wright
Foster's romantic life has sparked speculation, with links to notable figures in the entertainment industry. He was linked to his "Get Over It" love interest Kirsten Dunst once shooting wrapped on the romantic teen comedy.
The actor, then 20, dated the 18-year-old Dunst between 2000 and 2001. He was also photographed with his "X-Men: The Last Stand" co-star Elliot Page, formerly Ellen Page, from 2006 to 2007.
He accompanied her to a screening of her flick "Juno." In December 2007, the pair shared a kiss on the stage of the 7th annual Hollywood Life Breakthrough of the Year Awards.

Similarly to his link to Page, Zoë Kravitz and the "Six Feet Under" actor did not verbally confirm their relationship. However, the couple who starred in the 2008 "Birds of America" attended several events together.
The rumored pair was photographed at various events between 2007 and 2009, including a Madonna benefit. Tabloid sources have them engaging in PDA at LAX airport at the beginning of 2008. However, they stopped showing up together after January 2009.

Three years later, the actor was linked to actress Robin Wright after photos of them in a romantic setting surfaced in February 2012. The "Rampart" co-stars looked cozy at an Italian restaurant in Australia where Wright was filming "Adore" with Naomi Watts.
Wright's rep confirmed their engagement less than two years later, in January 2014. The "House of Cards" actress flashed her engagement band at the opening of a Diane von Furstenberg exhibit with her beau on January 10, 2014.

The following month after her engagement, the actress revealed that Foster had asked her out to a poetry recital during the premiere of "Rampart." It was the first time anyone had asked her out, and when he proposed in 2014, she was in shock. She continued:
"But we felt married anyway. We've been together ever since the first date."
The self-proclaimed former "anti-tattoos" star got her first ink, a small 'B' on her ring finger, while her fiancé got an 'R' on the same place after the engagement, saying it felt right as they are "not that traditional."

Eleven months after Foster slipped a ring on her finger, Wright reportedly called off the engagement in November 2014. They looked to be on again in mid-January 2015 when snapped holding hands at LAX, with the actress donning the engagement ring again.
She let fans in on a significant life event by making her red-carpet debut with Foster.
In a March 2014 Variety profile, the "First Ladies" narrator gushed about how she never laughed or read more with Foster. He inspired her to be the "best" version of herself. According to tabloid sources, the on-again-off-again pair quietly called off the engagement for a final time later that year.

Ben Foster Settled down with 'Orange Is the New Black' Star Laura Prepon
Foster found love with Laura Prepon, whom he was introduced to by a mutual friend, Danny Masterson. Masterson had connected them in their teens, but their friendship only turned romantic in their thirties.
She had previously dated Danny's brother Christopher Masterson and was in a long-term relationship with "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" actor Scott Michael Foster, who has no relation to Ben Foster.
An Us Weekly source revealed that the pair were kissing at a New York City restaurant in mid-2016 and were having intimate conversations at a 4th of July get-together in New Jersey.

That same month she said in a Marie Claire interview, "I'm like, I'm not gonna spend my day updating my social media." Prepon explained:
"I want to enjoy and live my life. I want to let people in, [and] I want fans to know what I'm doing, but there's also a lot I keep close to the vest. With social media, it's really hard."
However, she let fans in on a significant life event by making her red-carpet debut with Foster at her film "Girl on the Train" premiere in October 2016. The event doubled as an engagement announcement when "That 70s Show" actress showed off her ring.
The "happy" bride-to-be revealed in January 2017 that they wanted an intimate wedding but found it hard to draw up a guest list with so many people in their lives. Prepon said of Foster:
"I'm happy. It's amazing. He's the love of my life."
On June 3, 2018, the "Orange Is the New Black" actress shared a wedding portrait with a vintage filter, and in the caption, she wrote, "Just Married! Thank you for all the love and support. Wishing all of us the good stuff!"
Ben Foster and Laura Prepon Welcomed a Daughter and a Son in Their Marriage
Foster and Laura Prepon started their family shortly after their wedding. The couple became parents to Ella in August 2018 and welcomed a "new bundle of love," a son, in February 2020. With the birth of her second child, the actress understood how infinite a mother's love could be. She said:
"When I had my second child I thought, how am I ever going to love a child as much as I love my first? Then you do and it's this overwhelming sense of love. It's incredible how that happens."
The new parents decided not to reveal their son's name to protect his privacy. The "House" star has become more active on social media over the years, with a following of over 11 million in mid-2023, but she never shares photographs of her children's faces on her platform.
On becoming a mother, Prepon has learned that things evolve in motherhood and other aspects of life. She sees this reflected in her children, who are constantly growing and developing. She noted:
"If motherhood has taught me anything so far, it's that something can work out for a period of time, and then you move on and evolve from that."
The couple routinely show up for each other. They were at the "Emancipation" premiere, where Foster starred opposite Will Smith. The actress graced the carpets in a glamorous black jumpsuit with lace detailing.
