Taylor Mayne Pearl Brooks is one of the three siblings, the eldest daughter of country musician Garth Brooks. She was born from the singer's first marriage in the 1990s, and now a two-time graduate, she is also a mom and a wife.

In June 2022, Taylor Mayne Pearl Brooks (also goes by Taylor Fristoe) penned a lengthy message on Facebook explaining her choice to join the Satanic Temple. She revealed she had been a part of the religion since May 2021.

Taylor acknowledged that her announcement might upset a significant fraction of the public due to a widespread misconception about the Satanic Temple and clarified that it did not worship the devil.

She added that the Satanic Temple believed "religion can, and should, be divorced from superstition." Taylor listed many values the temple advocated for, including justice, freedom of expression, and bodily autonomy.

The religious group has even gone to court to fight for the rights of those who've been marginalized, though it has, unfortunately, seen little victory. Nonetheless, Taylor wholeheartedly joined its cause.

While her chosen religion aligns with her values (and opinions) and is clearly important to her, it's only one part of her life. Taylor remains close to her family, but now she is building her own alongside a loving husband.

Taylor drew her first breath on July 8, 1992, born to Garth and his first wife, Sandy Mahl. Her parents had married six years before and welcomed her two younger sisters, August Brooks, in May 1994 and Allie Brooks, in July 1996.

August previously worked for a law firm and is a mom of two with her husband, Chance Michael Russell. Allie graduated with a music degree from Belmont University before pursuing a full-time singing career.

Their older sister (who was named after singer James Taylor and comedian Minnie Pearl) graduated with a Master's in Theology from Vanderbilt University. What she does for work is unknown, but she currently lives in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Taylor's father took a lengthy hiatus from Hollywood in 2000 to focus on raising her and her sisters. He remarried another country crooner, Trisha Yearwood, in 2005, following Trisha's previous marriages to Chris Latham and Robert Reynolds.

Taylor's husband is Steven Michael, a 2019 graduate of The Blackbird Academy. Steven previously worked as a Shift Manager at Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. He served as a Manager at Applebee's Grill + Bar in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and as a Waiter at RibCrib BBQ.

Since 2018, he has worked as a Shift Manager at Pizza Hut and a Security at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Steven tied the knot with Taylor in November 2016 and has frequently expressed his love for her online. Moreover, the couple has a son.
