The Couple's Encounter with 9/11 Tragedy

While their lives seem like a fairytale, the couple have also been together in trying moments. Sam Riegel and his wife witnessed the tragic 9/11 attacks that shook the United States. Luckily they were far away enough not to get injured. Tran expressed:

"That single event has influenced pretty much every decision I've made since then."

They shared pictures and videos of that fateful day, and in one of the videos, the actor expressed gratitude that his partner was still alive and breathing. He also revealed that it was the last thing they saw before leaving New York.
