Michael Conrad Braxton Jr. is a singer and songwriter, a professional path that runs deep in the Braxton family. Some fans may already be familiar with his works, and others may not be because his sisters are more commonly in the spotlight.

Michael Conrad Jr.'s Songwriting Beginnings

On his official Facebook page, Michael's intro says, "Singer/Songwriter and a good man! :-) - Michael." He is the family's only son, and you may have seen him in a few episodes of the reality show, "Braxton Family Values."

But besides music, Michael's main passion is nurse care management, and his goal is to impact the global nursing community by mixing it with general culture. That's how he founded "Health Tips N Hip Hop."

He was asked about growing up in the Braxton family during an interview. His first experience with songwriting is hilarious because it happened when his sister, Tamar, demanded toilet paper, and later, they harmonized together, creating a song.

As the second oldest of the siblings, Michael said he's "still speechless" about his childhood. Toni is the most senior in the family, but he gained four sisters quickly. The songwriter added that it was "fun" because he would "torment" his siblings "all the time."

He also talked about having only two bathrooms in their house, but since they lived in the country, he often had to go outside. But other than regular sibling fights, Michael said his life was great. They sang often, traveled, and went to church constantly.

Losing His Beloved Daughter

Michael preferred to keep his personal life away from the spotlight, unlike his sisters, but he had a daughter named Lauren Braxton. Sadly, she passed in 2019 at 24. The songwriter told outlets that she died due to a heart condition.

However, it was later revealed that Lauren, fondly called LoLo, died from an overdose of dangerous substances. A friend found her unresponsive in the kitchen and called 911, but the paramedics declared her dead. The Braxtons were devastated by the loss, and some of her aunts had messages for her.

Traci said, "LoLo was more than my niece. She was my daughter, and I, my son, and my husband are truly heartbroken over her passing." Meanwhile, Trina posted a message on her Instagram, "God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven, Lauren "LoLo" Braxton."

Toni also publicly dated Shemar Moore and Birdman. His sister Traci, born on April 2, 1971, made her solo debut on October 2014, but she passed in March 2022 after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
