Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid's home in New York is currently on the market. Nestled in the picturesque outskirts of New York City, this charming home seamlessly blends timeless elegance with contemporary luxury.
Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid's home, where they once lived during their marriage, is up for sale. The home opens to a grand 25-foot gallery that connects to the living and dining rooms. Additionally, there is a bedroom wing that comprises a luxurious main bedroom suite, complete with a walk-in closet and a spa-inspired bathroom.
The residence, currently listed for $7.4 million, is a three-bedroom apartment with arched doorways, a fireplace, a spacious chef's kitchen where you can dine in, and expansive windows that offer stunning views of Central Park and the Reservoir.
In 1997, Meg and Dennis acquired the remarkable residence on the 12th floor of the Fifth Avenue co-op for $3.1 million. Nevertheless, after their divorce in 2001, Meg adopted a bi-coastal lifestyle, prompting them to put the property up for sale.
Initially built in 1924, this 3,000-square-foot flat has undergone extensive renovations and is now described as sophisticated and impeccable.
Meg Ryan and Dennis first crossed paths while filming the 1987 sci-fi movie "Innerspace." However, their romantic relationship began when they starred in the 1988 thriller "D.O.A.."

They tied the knot on Valentine's Day in 1991 and welcomed their son Jack Quaid in 1992. But their marriage didn't stand the test of time.
Although Meg was partly held responsible for its end due to an affair she had during her time on set with Russell Crowe, Dennis later confessed in an interview to being frequently unfaithful and struggling with Meg's fame, which he believed would have overshadowed his own.
Meg and Dennis' son, Jack, decided to follow in his parent's footsteps and pursued a career in acting, establishing a name for himself in the industry. Despite being raised by celebrated actors, Jack has managed to carve out his own path and achieve success independently.
In an interview, he disclosed that his parents maintained a hands-off approach when it came to his career. He revealed that his parents never offered him advice, and he never sought guidance on approaching a scene or performing.
Growing up with Meg and Dennis Quaid as parents, Jack had the privilege of being around them as they worked on film sets. When not on set, he would watch movies and cartoons at home. Despite this exposure to the acting world, he cherished his childhood and didn't perceive it as significantly different from others.
Many of his friends also had parents in the entertainment industry, so it felt normal to him at the time. However, as Jack became an adult, he began to grasp the uniqueness of his upbringing. Having both parents as actors became more apparent and somewhat unusual, setting his family apart from the typical experiences of others.
Besides acting, Meg has been involved in the real estate business. The actress made another notable real estate move a few years back when she sold one of her lavish homes in Montecito, Santa Barbara County.
She had initially purchased the property for $5 million, but she managed to sell it for an impressive $13.3 million, resulting in a substantial profit of $8.3 million.
After successfully selling the property, Meg embarked on her next residential venture—a luxurious estate on Montecito's most prestigious streets. According to records, she acquired the house for $9.5 million.
