Does Iman Vellani Have a Boyfriend? The Marvel Star Keeps Her Personal Life Private
2022 was an eventful year for Iman Vellani, following her starring role as Kamala Khan in "Ms. Marvel." Her fame skyrocketed, and fans grew curious about her personal life, particularly her love life; however, the actress has taken measures to keep it under wraps.
Before joining the film and TV industry in her last year of high school, Iman Vellani was set on pursuing a degree at the Ontario College of Design and Art University. But after acing her audition for "Ms. Marvel," things changed drastically.
Iman Vellani portrayed Kamala Khan, a.k.a Ms. Marvel, the first Muslim superhero in Marvel Comics since 2013. Kamala Khan's background mirrored the actress's, as she immigrated from Pakistani to Canada and was raised as a Muslim.

Kamala was also a Pakistani immigrant who relocated to New Jersey. Iman Vellani's ethnicity became central to her role as the Muslim superhero, and she spoke extensively about the importance of representation.
Although her character's faith informed her decisions, her story went beyond being a Muslim; it was only one component of a complex, dorky, and loveable identity. The world received the actress warmly when she debuted onscreen.
In addition to saving the world, her character finds herself in a love triangle with two of her closest friends. And while fans are divided on who Kamala should choose, Vellani's dating life off-screen is guarded.

Iman Vellani Removed Her Social Media Accounts, Except for One
As a rising star, Vellani felt her hometown put her on a pedestal. "Going into my local comic book store is super strange now," she remarked. The young actress anticipated the overwhelming effects of being under the spotlight.
It's why she chose to delete her social media accounts. Not only was she easing herself into the "juggernaut" of attention coming her way as a movie star, but she was also protecting the loved ones closest to her, especially her parents.
Although she cut off all social media, she forgot one online account: Letterboxd, an app that allows users to rate and review movies. As she became virtually unreachable, fans sometimes find her page, and "they make their own opinions about my opinions," Vellani shared.

Iman Vellani Was Torn between Her Onscreen Love Interests
Vellani's first love interest is Bruno, portrayed by actor Matt Lintz. Her second is Kamran, played by Rish Shah. The two young men brought different energies to the show that initially clashed.
Bruno is the cute, loveable friend, and Kamran is the new dreamy boy in school. While they both look out for Kamala's best interest, they butt heads as they compete for her attention. When asked if she was Team Bruno or Team Kamran, Vellani replied:
"I have no idea. I think team Kamran, but— aw, man, I'll say team Kamran because a lot of people are team— I'm team Bruno, too. I'm both. God, I'm torn. See?"

Only One of Iman Vellani's Onscreen Love Interests Is Openly Dating
In December 2022, Lintz celebrated his first couple's anniversary with his girlfriend, a lady going by Gracie Sapp, on Instagram. The lovebirds enjoyed the special occasion in Paris. Shah, on the other hand, appears to be single.
The actor has dedicated much of his social media to work-related content alongside glimpses of his adventures with pals. With Vellani removing her online presence, it's difficult to tell if she is romantically linked with anyone.
Nonetheless, she remains booked and busy. The 21-year-old will reprise her role as Kamala in MCU's upcoming "The Marvels," with Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Zawe Ashton, and again in "Avengers: Secret Wars" with Chris Hemsworth and Benedict Cumberbatch.
