'You Remind Me of Your Dad': Cole Hauser's Son Ryland Shows Striking Resemblance to Father

"Yellowstone" star Cole Hauser's son is on a world tour with friends before he becomes a college student in the fall. His mom left a thoughtful message in his comments.

Ryland Hauser, the eldest son of Cole Hauser, captioned a photo dump of his travels with pals with a world emoji over the weekend. In the first slide, he is wearing a white shirt, smiling, with balloons of a celebration in the background.

"Keep exploring, honey. Love you always," Cynthia wrote on her son's July 29, 2023 post. "Keep traveling and exploring!!" an Instagram user encouraged him.

"Whoa! You remind me of your dad during my younger days watching 'Higher Learning.' Be happy!" a fan of his father wrote. Cole starred opposite Omar Epps and Tyra Banks in the 1995 crime drama.

Cole Hauser posted in May that his firstborn was attending Texas Christian University.

"Have All the fun!!! Am I the only one that sees your Dad in the white shirt, guy?" another noted. "Looks like a great trip with a good group of friends! Enjoy before college starts!!!!" a well-wisher commented.

Earlier this month, "Sweet Valley High" actress Cynthia Daniel Hauser posted a family portrait holding Ryland's hand and her arm around her daughter Steely Rose Hauser's shoulders. Middle child Colt Hauser and Cole are grinning in the back. She wrote:

"My everything."

Brimming with pride, Cole Hauser posted in May that his firstborn was attending Texas Christian University. "Can't wait to see your next chapter in your life," he wrote with photos of Ryland in a purple TCU shirt.

At the time of the May 22 post, it was unclear if Ryland was joining the school's Horned Frogs football team as he was not listed on the recruiting websites that track the Fort Worth school. The TCU account welcomed him in the comments.

In high school, the football player, who played in Jenson Beach, Florida, had recruiting interests from Texas A&M University, University of North Alabama, and Division I schools Indiana State and Mississippi State.

The talented tight end has said he "is starting to get better" at people questioning if his success is due to his ability or famous last name, adding, "The big thing is just being confident on the field."

"But it's about what I want to do and creating my own legacy and my own path," he explained. "He did it one way. I want to create in a different way that our family has never done it before."
