Lewis Howes has consistently raved about the love and light his beau, actress Martha Higareda, brought into his life. The lovebirds began dating in 2021; however, it was rumored that their relationship started as an affair.

In June 2022, Lewis Howes shared a long thread of photos depicting his trip to Tulum with his girlfriend, Martha Higareda. The vibrant images showed the couple enjoying a tropical vacation in the picturesque Mexican city, exploring its waters and historical sites.

Alongside the slideshow, Howes penned a lengthy reflection about the companionship he dreamed of finding in romantic love. The internet personality said he remembered wondering how being entirely accepted for his quirks and flaws would feel.

Howes said he'd dreamed of meeting someone as passionate about "growth and learning" as he was, someone who was willing to "go to therapy early in the dating process not because we had problems, but to get clear on shared values and vision."

It seems he didn't need to look any further after meeting Higareda. "Crazy to think that I met @marthahigaredaoficial one year ago, with no plan or agenda - and how much richer life has become since she's been in my life," Howes sweetly wrote alongside their vacation pictures.

Higareda, born in Tobasco, Mexico, joined the TV and film industry in the early 2000s, appearing primarily in Latina productions. She eventually joined Hollywood and alternated between the two mediums.

In 2018, she joined the main cast of Netflix's "Altered Carbon" as Kristin Ortega, opposite Joel Kinnaman, Renee Elise Goldsberry, and Anthony Mackie. The show is among her chiefly recognized onscreen credits, along with her debut leading role in 2002's "Amar te Duele."

Higareda, who graduated with a degree in Film Studies from UCLA, has also dabbled in writing and producing. She has served as a Producer for Selva Pictures since 2009, and in 2012, she founded her media agency, NeverEnding Media.

In June 2023, Howes wrote, "There's no greater purpose than living a life of service," alongside a slideshow of photos from his and Higareda's trip to Guatemala. The lovebirds had visited a small town in the country in association with the non-profit Pencils of Promise.

The organization offers educational resources and support to underprivileged communities in Guatemala, Laos, and Ghana. Howes and Higareda, along with the PoP team, appeared to enjoy interacting with the children and spending time with them in their classrooms and school grounds.

Howes was once romantically involved with weather reporter Yanet Garcia. The former couple ended their relationship in May 2021, after which Howes began dating Higareda. However, in March 2022, Garcia claimed Howes's romance with the actress started before she and Howes separated.

During an "Ask Me a Question" session on her Instagram stories, one of her followers shared her boyfriend had cheated on her. Garcia responded, saying she had experienced the same, referring to Howes and Higareda. Higareda has reportedly denied the allegations.
