Multifaceted artist Wayne Brady has gone public about his sexual orientation. Brady, famously known for hosting the TV show "Let's Make a Deal," announced that he identifies as pansexual on his Instagram page.

He shared a video with dancers and an LGBTQ+ flag and wrote a detailed caption. "I advocate mental health for all, and a part of that is self-transparency. In doing my work, I've come to see a few truths, one of them being that I want to be free to love whomever I want," he wrote. "This truth makes me Pan and part of the Igbtq+ family."

While the TV personality, singer, and actor admitted that coming out was scary, he noted that the people he admired most were those that dared to be themselves.

Wayne Brady's daughter, Maile, and his ex-wife were among those he confided in first. Wayne Brady's ex-wife, Mandie Taketa, supported his decision when he first came to her. She said she wanted him to be happy.

Wayne Brady's daughter responded with overwhelmingly supportive feelings. She recalled breaking into a wide, proud smile upon hearing the news. Maile and Taketa also demonstrated their support on their respective Instagram pages.

Wayne Brady's daughter, Maile, was born on February 03, 2003. When she turned 19, her father marked the occasion by posting a brief video that depicted her growth over the years, accompanied by a heartfelt tribute to celebrate her birthday.

Maile inherited her parents' artistic talents. In 2021, she unveiled her single "Exhale" and its accompanying music video. Maile entered the world of acting in 2018, making her debut by guest-starring on "The Bold and the Beautiful." At that time, her father expressed his pride in her as she embarked on her acting journey.

In an interview, Wayne Brady revealed that when his daughter was 17 years old, she assumed the role of leading the black student union at her school.

In 2021, Maile and her boyfriend, Jason, became parents when they welcomed their son, Sunny. Wayne Brady humorously mentioned that the baby would refer to him as both "daddy" and "uncle," playfully combining the two titles as "Duncle."

Brady joins several celebrities who have gone public about their sexuality, including Wanda Sykes, Sam Smith, among others.
